Description
As a UX Designer / Researcher at Amgen India, you will be part of the design and research function within Amgen’s AI/ML Innovation Lab.
You’ll translate complex AI/ML concepts into intuitive, human-centered digital experiences that align with Amgen’s brand and accessibility standards.
This role requires a balance of creative design thinking and data-driven UX research skills.
**Key Responsibilities**
+ Conduct user research, interviews, and usability studies to inform product design decisions.
+ Design paper wireframes, prototypes, and user journeys that bring AI-driven workflows to life.
+ Collaborate with Amgen’s UX lead and developers to ensure design alignment and implementation fidelity.
+ Translate AI outputs and analytics into clear, actionable user interfaces.
+ Ensure consistency with Amgen’s design language system (DLS) and accessibility guidelines.
+ Synthesize user insights into design recommendations and iterative improvements.
+ Document findings, maintain UX artifacts, and support UX governance practices.
**Required Qualifications**
+ 12–17 years of experience in UX design and/or user research.
+ Strong portfolio demonstrating data-heavy or AI-based interface design.
+ Proficiency in Figma, Adobe XD, Miro, or similar tools is a plus.
+ Understanding of information architecture, accessibility, and usability principles.
+ Experience working in cross-functional agile teams.
+ Excellent communication and presentation skills.
**Preferred Skills**
+ Familiarity with GenAI-assisted design workflows and conversational UI/UX.
+ Exposure to enterprise product or life sciences platforms.
+ Knowledge of UX research methodologies (surveys, heuristic evaluations, analytics).
+ Certification in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) or UX Design or Strategic Design Management preferred.
