As a **Procurement Data Analys** t at Siemens Smart Infrastructure, you’ll be at the forefront of enhancing the quality, usability, and trustworthiness of our procurement data. This pivotal role focuses on governing critical data from SAP and other procurement tools, building robust semantic models, and laying the groundwork for AI-ready analytics that will empower informed decision-making across the business. **As a Procurement Data Analyst, you will:**

+ **Data Quality & Governance:** Take ownership of cleaning, governing, and continuously improving the quality of procurement data across various tools and systems.

+ **Semantic Model Design:** Design and develop semantic models and define key performance indicator (KPI) metrics to ensure consistent and reliable reporting.

+ **Data Validation & Integration:** Collaborate closely with our IT partners to validate integrated datasets within Snowflake and Microsoft Fabric, ensuring data integrity.

+ **AI-Enabled Analytics:** Prepare Copilot-ready datasets and actively support the development and implementation of AI-enabled analytics initiatives.

+ **Stakeholder Communication:** Clearly communicate data insights, potential data issues, and recommendations to procurement stakeholders, fostering data literacy and trust.

**You will make an impact with these qualifications:**

_Basic Qualifications:_

+ Experience: 1–3 years of hands-on experience in data analytics, analytics engineering, or data quality roles.

+ Technical Skills: Must be able to demonstrate proficiency in SQL and data modeling.

+ Reporting Tools: Proven experience with Power BI semantic models or equivalent reporting and visualization tools.

+ SAP Fluency: Solid understanding of SAP data, specifically as it relates to procurement analytics.

+ Communication & Growth Mindset: Excellent communication skills and a genuine eagerness to grow your expertise in AI-enabled analytics.

+ This will be a remote position.

_Preferred Qualifications:_

+ Experience with Snowflake is highly preferred.

+ Experience with Microsoft Fabric or a strong interest in learning and utilizing this platform.

+ **AI Exposure:** Prior exposure to or understanding of AI-enabled analytics concepts and applications.
