The Product Manager – Hematology, South East Asia is responsible for product management of our Hematology product portfolio. The individual drives the growth of the Hematology product portfolio by working closely with sales associates, channel partners and clients. If you have strong Sales/ Applications Management / Hematology management experience with commercial acumen , you would be a great fit for this role.
This position reports to the Marketing Director, Asia Pacific and is part of the Marketing Team located in Malaysia and will be an on-site role.
In this role, your responsibilities will be to:
+ Develop, execute and monitor Hematology product strategy to drive business growth in collaboration with sales organization and channel partners. This role is responsible for driving the Hematology business in South East Asia. This includes devising and executing promotional strategies and creating tools, collaterals that are consistent with corporate image and objectives.
+ Develop and manage relationships with customers, key experts, thought leaders and channel partners. Handle escalations for customer complaints or queries for hematology product portfolio.
+ Conduct market research and gather competition data from market sources to ensure maximum capture of market intelligence. This includes getting a perspective of market size, market share and ability to create a comprehensive market map on the same.
+ Be the regional point person facilitating the disseminating of technical & application and marketing information for South East Asia.
+ Cross-functional collaboration with teams across the organization like L&D, sales, application and service to ensure forecasting, escalating key client issues and solve the critical product issues by coordinating with regional and BU team. Conduct product trainings for both internal associates and external customers.
The essential requirements of the job include:
+ Education – Degree or equivalent in Med Tech, healthcare, biotech or Science-related subject.
+ Experience: Preferred 10 years experience in IVD industry with at least 5 years’ technical and marketing experience in hematology. Tech support or applications experience is a definite asset.
+ Required Skill – Well versed with hematology market dynamics with established track record of initializing and implementing successful marketing strategies. Ability to engage and influence team members, cross-functional peers, customers and dealers. Possess strong language proficiency in English
+ Preferred Skills – Demonstrate top tier communication skills; strong interpersonal and customer handling skills and provide guidance or coaching within the team, customers and across functional groups.
Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:
+ Since this is a South East Asia position, the position will be required to travel 40% of the time
