Description

**Help us shape the future of production planning – and build the skills that will shape yours.**

At Amgen, our mission is simple and powerful: **to serve patients** . Every improvement in how we plan, schedule, and operate our manufacturing processes helps us deliver medicines more efficiently, safely, and reliably across the world.

At **Amgen Breda** , over 900 colleagues from more than 40 nationalities work every day to assemble, package, store, and distribute life‑changing medicines. Now, you have the chance to contribute to this purpose — and gain real experience in a global biotech environment.

**LIVE**

**This could be your everyday**

Join our **Clinical Packaging** and **Supply Chain / Manufacturing** teams in a hands‑on assignment focused on improving how production planning information is visualized, managed, and used on the shopfloor.

Today, our planning & production teams rely on an internal tool to track production orders, room allocation, routing logic, and operational exceptions. The tool works — but it can be smarter, clearer, and more insightful.

_And that’s where you come in._

**Your mission**

You will help enhance an existing **production planning and visibility dashboard** by:

+ Mapping current production & planning processes

+ Identifying inefficiencies, gaps, and missing logic

+ Supporting the integration of **room allocation** , **order routing** , and **exception handling**

+ Analyzing production data to define improvement opportunities

+ Translating operational insights into practical, data‑driven enhancements

+ Working with Production, Planning, Supply Chain, and Engineering stakeholders

This is a chance to **blend data, operations, and problem‑solving** — and make a visible impact in a real, regulated manufacturing environment.

**Deliverables**

During your internship, you will:

✅ Map the current-state planning process

✅ Analyze production & planning datasets

✅ Identify gaps in logic, visibility, and usability

✅ Propose and document improvement recommendations

✅ Support enhancements to the planning dashboard

✅ Present a final report & recommendations to stakeholders

Your work will directly contribute to a **fully functioning and integrated production planning dashboard** used by operational teams across the site.
