Siemens Industry is looking for a 1 st Shift
Production Supervisor for our Grand Prairie, TX factory located in the heart of
the DFW Metroplex.
**You’ll make an impact by:**
+ Being the key driver of all daily production relatedprocesses and the hub of information transfer between the hourly assemblyworkforce, management, engineering, quality control, purchasing andplanning.
+ Improve safety for all personnel the work in andaround production line while drive efforts and initiatives to reduceproduction errors, improve product quality, and increase efficiency.
+ Handle production schedule, assign personnel to workareas, supervise progress, coordinate and document training of personnel,drive continuous improvement projects, and conduct annual employeeperformance evaluations.
+ Maintain working relationship with local union byfollowing the collective bargaining agreement.
+ Support digitalization efforts to implement toolssuch as Digital Work Instructions, Operator Displays, Performance/StatusDashboards, and other connected tools.
**You’ll win us over by having the followingqualifications:**
**Basic Qualifications:**
+ 2+ years of successful experience in anAssembly/Manufacturing or related field in a supervisor role.
+ Bachelor’s degree
+ Mechanical Proficiency with experience using handtools.
+ Proficient in Microsoft office products
+ Legally authorized to work in the United States on acontinual and permanent basis without company sponsorship
**Preferred Qualifications**
+ Lean Manufacturing techniques.
+ Ability to interpret engineering drawings andschematics.
+ Project Management experience; strong leadership andtime management skills, understanding of management approaches for workdirection, motivation, talent development and performance management.
