Position Title: Project Manager
Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, 40 Hours/ Week
Summary of Duties: Responsible for the successful execution of projects, from project initiation through final closeout. Work in a matrix style organization requiring excellent coordination skills and the ability to manage competing priorities. Executes a diverse portfolio of projects; including medium-voltage power distribution equipment including packaging and services, and solutions, including automation. Direct all phases of projects from inception through completion. Responsible for the cost, schedule, quality, and technical performance of the assigned project(s). Establish milestones and monitor adherence to master plans and schedules. Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion. Lead and drive multidisciplinary and cross functional teams, including engineering, operations, vendor management, logistics and services to ensure successful project execution. Provide regular updates to team, management, and PMO on work performed, plans, budget, and overall status. Proactive Risk identification and Mitigation. Identify project problems and obtain solutions, such as allocation of resources or changing contractual specifications. Manage customer expectations across project cycle and lead single and multi-product medium voltage solutions projects. Direct diagnostics with the ability to determine root cause and corrective actions. 20% Travel required (national and international). Hybrid work permitted.
Qualifications: The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering or a related field of study and three (3) years of experience in the job offered or a related role. The position requires experience with the following: Relevant experience in Power distribution industry with either Medium voltage or High voltage equipment; Proficient in Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project; Demonstrated leadership skills and experience successfully of managing multi-disciplinary teams, including program management, services, engineering, operations, and logistics; experience in identifying and implementing cost savings measures within project; and Ability to interpret and report results to senior management as well as customer.
