Siemens Buildings is looking for a Quality Systems and Compliance Engineer. This critical role is designed to ensure the robust management of the Quality Management System (QMS), ISO compliance, customer audit readiness, and the swift resolution of urgent quality issues across our operations. You will act as a key expert, driving proactive risk identification and mitigation strategies, and ensuring our products and processes consistently meet internal and external quality, safety, and regulatory standards. This role is essential for maintaining our operational integrity and customer satisfaction.

**As Quality Systems and Compliance Engineer, you will:**

+ Act as a primary point of contact for quality system, compliance, and product safety-related matters, coordinating risk assessments, investigations, and necessary actions to ensure compliance.

+ Lead and coordinate all customer requests, including product validations, quality self-assessments, questionnaires, and audit coordination. Serve as the primary customer interface, driving cross-functional preparation, ensuring timely and accurate information exchange, and the effective closure of findings.

+ Own and maintain the Integrated Management System (IMS), ensuring continued certification, compliance, audit readiness, and effective management of corrective actions.

+ Lead and coordinate internal and external audits related to quality and applicable management systems, product safety, and regulatory compliance, ensuring successful outcomes.

+ Develop and implement robust quality controls and processes to prevent non-conformances and ensure compliance with all applicable standards.

+ Manage and drive the resolution of urgent and critical quality issues, conducting thorough root cause analysis and implementing effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to prevent recurrence.

+ Provide training on quality, risk management, and compliance topics to various teams within the organization.

+ Drive process continuous improvement and automation by leveraging key technologies such as LLMs, Agentic AI, etc.

+ Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Production, Legal, and Product Management teams to embed quality, safety, and compliance requirements from design to delivery.

**Basic Qualifications:**

+ Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related technical field.

+ 5+ years of progressive experience in Quality Engineering within a manufacturing environment.

+ In-depth knowledge of ISO 9001 principles, audit processes, corrective action methodologies (e.g., CAPA, 8D, 5 Whys), and regulatory compliance frameworks.

+ Proven experience leading internal audits, supporting external certification audits, and coordinating customer audits and compliance assessments, demonstrating strong organizational and documentation skills.

+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to quickly assess complex situations and drive effective solutions under pressure.

+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex compliance and safety requirements clearly and persuasively to diverse audiences.

+ Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and respond effectively to urgent situations with a calm and decisive approach.

+ Available to work on-site, Monday through Friday.

**Preferred Qualifications:**

+ Advanced Quality Certifications (e.g., ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE), ASQ Certified Quality Auditor (CQA), Certified Reliability Engineer (CRE)).

+ Experience with specific regulatory bodies or certifications relevant to building technologies (e.g., UL, CE, NFPA, etc.).

+ Experience with ISO 14001 and 45001

+ Experience leveraging AI technologies (e.g., Large Language Models and agent-based automation) to drive process improvement and operational efficiency.
