**Position Overview:**

Siemens Mobility is seeking to hire Rail Technicians to
inspect, maintain, and repair trains at our Orlando, FL facility. In this role
you will perform day to day running maintenance and unscheduled repair to a
fleet of locomotives, coaches, and train sets via maintenance instructions from
Computer Maintenance Management System (CMMS). The work hours are 3rd shift –
10pm-6:30am (including weekdays, weekends and holidays), but can include
dayshift or afternoon shift based on operational needs.

**What your day-to-day will look like:**

+ Followall maintenance instructions (wherever available) to enforce to andmaintain compliance and high-quality standards.

+ Verifythat all defects, tasks, and incidents have been reported and detailed in(CMMS) for compliance, issue tracking, and closure.

+ Providebody/welding/paint repair to locomotives, coaches, and train sets.

+ Keepworkstation and work areas clean and free of debris at all times.

+ Developa working relationship with the Customer as an employee and representativeof Siemens Mobility.

+ Maintaincompliance to all Federal Railroad Administration (FRA) related safetyrules, laws, and regulations.

+ Collaboratewith the leadership as needed on all site issues, systems, and relatedfacility operations.

+ Willingto perform all other functions as needed, including forklift operation,daily cleaning operations.

**To thrive in this role, you have:**

+ HighSchool Diploma / GED

+ Minimum3 years of working experience with a railroad or other technical field(s).Technical training will also be considered with lesser work experience,

+ Settingyou apart would be detailed knowledge of technical aspects of the rollingstock/depot.

**Physical Demands:**

+ Frequentlywalk, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.

+ Frequentlyrequired to climb stairs, steps, and ladders

+ Occasionallylift and move at most 40 pounds.

+ Specificvision abilities include close vision, distance vision, color vision,peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to focus.

+ Pushingand pulling objects towards and away from origin of force.

+ Keyboardingon a computer or other machine by means of a traditional keyboard.

+ Grossand Fine Manipulation to include holding, grasping and pinching usinghands and fingers.

+ Drivingforklifts, golf carts, yard buggies etc.

Theactual salary/wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget andcandidate experience, knowledge, skills, and qualifications.**
