The Regional Product Specialist for Leica Biosystems. This role will provide advanced technical guidance, training, and field support, while collaborating with commercial teams to drive business growth and customer satisfaction.
This position is part of Leica Biosystems, located in São Paulo/Capital and will be remote with frequent travel across LATAM and presence at customers office as well. At Leica Biosystems, our vision is to advance cancer diagnostics and improve lives.
You will be a part of the Services and Applications team and report to the Services and Application Manager responsible for acting as the technical, services and/or application expert for Leica products across LATAM, supporting indirect channel, internal team and customers to ensure optimal product performance and adoption. In this role, your main responsibilities are:
+ Serve as the regional subject matter expert for Leica products, providing technical and application support to customers, training, Field Service Engineers (FSE), Field Application Specialists (FAS) and/or Indirect Channels across Latam.
+ Manage knowledge base across the region for Services, by delivering service product training and workshops for internal teams, indirect channels and customers, ensuring proper usage and best practices.
+ Escalate critical technical issues and troubleshooting services promptly and follow up on corrective actions to prevent recurrence. Monitor product performance in the field, collect feedback, and communicate improvement opportunities to global product teams.
+ Support the launch of new products in LATAM, including training, marketing alignment, and technical validation. Participate in regional and global product meetings to share insights and best practices.
The essential requirements of the job include:
Education
+ Technical or Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Engineering, or related field.
Experience:
+ Proven strong field experience in technical roles within the healthcare or medical devices industry; IVD experience is a strong plus. Proven ability to manage complex technical processes and support multidisciplinary teams.
+ Experience with CRM tools (Salesforce), ERP systems, and Microsoft Office Suite
+ Ability to work effectively across cultures and geographies.
Language:
+ Advanced English (spoken and written).
+ Advanced Brazilian Portuguese (spoken and written).
+ Spanish will be differential.
Travel, Motor Vehicle Record Requirements
+ Ability to travel 80%+, frequent overnight travel, must maintain a flexible schedule, often with short notice. International travel will be required.
+ Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
+ Must have a valid Passport and USA Visa
