The Senior Data Analyst (Planning & Inventory) is responsible for driving inventory performance across Leica Microsystems Singapore manufacturing site through data-driven planning, forecasting, and process optimization. The incumbent will play a pivotal role in plantwide inventory management (IMAG) by designing, controlling, and tracking inventory across Medical, Applied, and Optics segments.
This position reports to the Senior Manager, Assembly & Production Scheduling and is part of the Manufacturing and Operations team, located in Singapore, and will be an on-site role.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
+ Develop and maintain inventory forecasts aligned with production schedules and customer demand; drive actions to meet inventory turn targets.
+ Ensure inventory accuracy through cycle counts and audits; manage excess and obsolete inventory in collaboration with Supply Chain.
+ Partner with Product and Project Management teams to support Phase-In Phase-Out (PIPO) planning and execution.
+ Lead digitalization and process improvement initiatives to enhance inventory visibility and planning accuracy using lean and automation tools.
+ Analyze inventory metrics (e.g., fill rate, stock accuracy, ageing) and deliver actionable insights through monthly and quarterly reporting.
The essential requirements of the job include:
+ Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.
+ Minimum 5 years of experience in inventory planning or supply chain, preferably in manufacturing or high-tech environments.
+ Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP), advanced Excel, and inventory planning tools.
+ Experience with digitalization projects and data analytics platforms.
+ Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
