What you will do:
+ Project Initiation: Launch discontinuation projects by defining scope, budget, timeline, and resource requirements. Ensure alignment with organizational goals and secure necessary approvals.
+ Process Governance: Lead projects through defined tollgates in accordance with the internal Product Discontinuation Process (PDP).
+ Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate with global cross-functional teams to manage tasks, monitor progress, and ensure timely delivery of project milestones.
+ Documentation & Approvals: Prepare and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including summaries and approval records.
+ Stakeholder Engagement: Maintain close communication with the Discontinuation Program Manager to review project progress and align on strategic direction.
+ Reporting & Risk Management: Provide regular updates on project status, financial performance, risks, and any deviations from the original plan.
Who you are:
+ Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent, with proven experience in project leadership or a comparable role.
+ Professional Experience: Over 10 years of total industry experience, including a minimum of 3 years in a relevant project or product leadership capacity.
+ Technical Proficiency: Strong working knowledge of Product Data Management (PDM) systems is essential.
+ Domain Expertise: Hands-on experience in Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), including Engineering Change Request (ECR) and Engineering Change Order (ECO) processes.
+ Cross-Functional Leadership: Demonstrated ability to coordinate and lead cross-functional teams across global environments.
Desired Characteristics
Experience in Product lifecycle management, Product lifecycle process (PLP), MAGIC PDM knowledge, ECR/ECO process, and Project management skills are considered merits.
