**What you will do**

In this vital role you will be a member of the Global Intercompany Accounting team that is responsible for the recording, consolidation, and analysis of Amgen’s global intercompany transactions. Besides that, you will support Managers and Senior Managers with the successful delivery of strategic, tactical, and general accounting & controlling goals.

Job duties include but are not limited to **:**

+ Partner with andreview the work of an outsourced provider that supports this team.

+ Generate and post intercompany invoices, credit notes for goods, services, or loans exchanged between entities.

+ Prepare and review journal entries, general ledger account analysis, and reconciliationsfor bothgeneral ledgerand consolidationsystems.

+ Executeintercompanysub-process activities, including balance sheet reconciliations and reporting, ensuringtimelymonth-endclose.

+ Ensure adherence to transfer pricing regulations, internal policies, and accounting standards (USGAAP).

+ Analyze agedintercompany billingitems, research disputes, and coordinate with departments (AP, Treasury, Supply Chain) to resolve mismatches.

+ Support the preparationofaudit schedules andaddressquestions from internal and external auditors.

+ Implement process improvements and strong controls over processes.

+ Keep track oftheeffectiveness ofSLAs, process maps,and SOPs.

+ Bachelor’s degreeor equivalent(an emphasis in Accounting, FinanceorBusiness Administration is desirable).

+ Excellent communication (both verbal and written) skills, including the ability to interact with Amgen middle management effectively and confidentially.

+ Excellent and insightful analytical skills; ability to drive meaningful insights from large datasets.

+ Being able todemonstratea high levelof professionalism.

+ Language skills: Fluent in English.

+ 4+ years of related professional experience.

+ Proficiencyin technical knowledge of accounting (US GAAP), accountingprocessesand ERP systems.
