We are seeking a Staff Engineer, DevOps to lead CI/CD pipeline development, automation, and DevSecOps practices across Windows and Linux environments. This role emphasizes build, test, release, and deployment automation, while also managing VMs, off-the-shelf (OTS) tools, and license/vendor oversight. Cloud (AWS) is used primarily as part of automation and deployment workflows.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

+ Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps, including automated builds, tests, code quality analysis, artifact management, and deployments across Windows and Linux systems

+ Integrate DevSecOps practices into CI/CD pipelines with automated SAST, DAST, dependency scanning, container scanning, compliance checks, and implement deployment strategies such as blue/green, canary, and rollback for reliability

+ Configure, patch, and maintain infrastructure including AWS EC2, VMware, Hyper-V, Windows Server, Active Directory, IIS, and Linux environments, with infrastructure-as-code automation using Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation

+ Manage version control, branching strategies, and artifact repositories (Artifactory, Nexus, AWS Code Artifact), along with vendor software tools, license tracking, renewals, procurement, and regulatory validation documentation

+ Implement monitoring and logging using CloudWatch, Grafana, ELK, Datadog, or Prometheus, ensuring pipeline security and compliance with FDA 21 CFR Part 11, ISO 13485, and HIPAA requirements

The essential requirements of the job include:

+ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field with 8+ years of Software Engineering experience including 6+ years in DevOps, CI/CD pipeline development, or Site Reliability Engineering

+ Proficiency with CI/CD tools including Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, and GitLab CI

+ Advanced scripting and programming experience using PowerShell, Bash, and Python

+ Administration of Windows Server and Linux operating environments with demonstrated expertise in AWS EC2, VMware, and Hyper-V virtual machine management

+ Implementation of DevSecOps practices including integration of security tools into CI/CD pipelines and validation of off-the-shelf software with license tracking

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

+ Certifications: AWS DevOps Engineer – Professional, Azure DevOps Engineer, or CKA.

+ Experience in regulated industries (medical devices, healthcare, biotech).

+ Knowledge of containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) is a plus.

+ Familiarity with SOC 2, ISO 27001, or NIST security frameworks.
