Siemens is looking for a Technical Writer to join a cutting-edge team developing sophisticated design tools for electronics engineers.
If you are an innovative and technically adept writer or engineer with strong communication skills, consider applying to Siemens as a Technical Writer. Use your technical background to maximum effect by developing real-world examples, tutorials, and multimedia content that assists customers in using Siemens products to accomplish goals.
In this role, you will:
+ Work with the latest cutting-edge technology in IC verification.
+ Develop task-based content that teaches customers how to get the most out of their embedded tools.
+ Take a proactive role in working with the product team to research and identify use cases.
+ Work collaboratively with geographically dispersed colleagues on cross-functional teams.
Qualifications:
+ BS/MS or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
+ 2+ years of technical writing experience, supporting complex technical products (experience in a related field may be considered).
+ Familiarity with IC design or a related field.
+ Ability to come up to speed quickly on a new project and balance multiple tasks and competing priorities.
+ Knowledge of task analysis and topic-based structured (DITA XML) authoring.
+ Excellent written-English and the ability to write clearly and accurately is essential.
