**ROLE SUMMARY:**

As a function in the Global Commercial Analytics organization within Pfizer, Integrated Insights & Strategy (IIS) plays a critical role as a source of analytical insight for Pfizer’s commercial brand strategy and primary point of analytics contact for the business leaders. This team functions as internal consultants and brand strategists that partner with senior commercial and cross-functional leaders, framing problems in a way that the business can then execute to drive impact and unlock value.

Pfizer is seeking a Head of Integrated Insights & Strategy (IIS) who will be a leader responsible for driving data-driven insights for commercial brand strategy for the Oncology business unit, framing business problems and enabling executional excellence. This individual will report to Global Commercial Analytics lead and will lead a team of ~50 colleagues. He / she will act as an indispensable thought partner to senior US Oncology leaders, leveraging analyses that impact portfolio decisions and overarching commercial strategy. They will influence senior franchise leads and ensure the highest quality work, while inspiring, leading and developing new IIS colleagues. The group will cover analytics for the Global Marketing and Commercial Strategy & Innovation organizations, in addition to the in-line portfolio.

The ideal candidate has deep oncology expertise, leads large cross-functional teams and can guide the overall delivery of exceptional data-driven strategic consultancy, with a track record of building a high performing team, affecting positive decision making and driving business returns.

**ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:**

**Portfolio Strategy**

+ Provide strategic thought partnership to US Oncology leaders to drive investment decisions.

+ Act as strategic partner to frame, analyze, and answer key business questions related to the identification and evaluation of commercial strategies and tactics.

+ Lead the collection of data & information needs and development of market research and data analysis plans.

+ Develop and execute creation of in-house knowledge base to drive patient and Healthcare Professionals (HCP) insights.

+ Lead the connection of research and analytics together to tell a compelling and persuasive story and deliver clear and actionable recommendations to senior leadership.

**Promotional Performance and Execution Insights**

+ Lead team that develops and monitors key performance metrics to evaluate and enhance the effectiveness of a brand’s promotional activities, including media and Customer Facing (CFC) activities.

+ Partner with Media team to recommend campaign improvements. Drive both national and subnational analytics to provide actionable insights.

+ Integrate marketing insights to broader analytic activities to paint the full picture of marketing execution and customer behavior and inform resource allocation decisions.

+ Assist in advancing the vision for the future direction of brand activities (Journey Orchestration, Next Best Action, etc **).**

**Forecasting / Operating Plan Support**

+ In partnership with key Pfizer stakeholders, oversee development of Long-Range Forecasts (LRFs) and Operating Plans.

+ Drive the creation of best-in-class epi- and patient flow forecast models in partnership with Performance Analytics & Forecasting colleagues.

+ Review and enhance forecasts or strategic brand plans with strong expertise in ability to qualify and quantify the business opportunity, including communicating results and recommendations to senior leadership.

+ Ensure accurate effective performance measurement and deliver regular assessments of portfolio performance to leadership, including clear articulation of the data and its meaning for the business.

**Collaboration with other Analytics Teams**

+ Lead dialogue to integrate insights across various cross-functional teams – data science, performance analytics, and analytics governance.

+ Actively contribute to advancement of team capabilities through thought leadership; seek to share knowledge and expertise with other colleagues making use of knowledge sharing platform.

+ Alignment with other analytic teams to ensure cohesive activities with our stakeholders.

+ Partner with other analytic functions to advance the use of novel data sources including Real World Data (RWD).

**QUALIFICATIONS:**

+ BA/BS in Marketing, Psychology, Mathematics, Statistics, or Engineering or similar related field required; MS or MBA preferred.

+ 15+ years in consulting, finance or marketing analytics

+ 10+ years at a high-value level (e.g., US & Global) developing data-driven brand strategy for major portfolio (>$3B)

+ Experience leading highly effective and cohesive cross-functional teams, with demonstrated ability to build positive team culture and engagement

+ In-depth knowledge of multiple analytic disciplines, including deep Oncology-specific primary and secondary data required, with a keen understanding of output and quality/timely insight derivation

+ Strong entrepreneurial drive, who thrives on intellectual challenge and raises the bar in terms of quality work

+ Defined involvement in helping frame, design & execute solutions for challenging business situations

+ Proven track record of indispensable thought partnership

+ Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and to influence and drive change at all levels in an organization

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $274,000.00 to $456,600.00. In addition, this position is eligible for participation in Pfizer’s Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 30.0% of the base salary and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program.
