India continues to be growth market for Danaher. With ~3000+ associates & multiple manufacturing facilities across our Life Sciences, Biotechnology & Diagnostics platforms, the DBS Leader will be responsible for promoting and facilitating the successful implementation of the Danaher Business System (DBS) Growth initiatives in India to meet our business goals.

The DBS Leader will become expert in DBS Growth, Innovation & Lean tools, gain deep insights of operating companies, and develop cross-functional & cross-Danaher businesses leadership to drive results. The DBS Leader will be a critical part of the India Leadership team to support & accelerate growth, innovation & lean initiatives of Danaher/ Danaher’s Operating Companies (OpCo’s) in the region.

Key Responsibilities

+ Stimulate growth by leading focused DBS events to drive incremental revenue growth.

+ Drive the adoption & implementation of Lean, Innovation & Growth DBS tools to help Danaher businesses’ s achieve growth in the Region.

+ Build deep understanding of market trends and segmentation, competition, and customer needs, drive the development of innovative solutions.

+ Proactively conduct productive and scalable DBS growth events with sustainment initiatives.

+ Implement, improve, and sustain foundational sales and marketing effectiveness processes including funnel management, visibility Kaizens and transformative marketing, follow through the execution to ensure achieving tangible results.

+ Work with commercial teams (sales, marketing, and customer care), Manufacturing, Product Development/Engineering to install and drive good daily management and problem-solving processes; build appropriate standard work and weekly/monthly performance scorecards for enhanced visual management.

+ Lead by doing to promote “DBS for results” mentality. Build growth culture and sustainability. Ensure that GMs create and track DBS metrics.

+ Provide DBS training and coaching; improve DBS training and facilitation skills by increasing the pool of certified practitioners.

+ Organize and lead key events such as Growth Conference and President Kaizen.

+ Roll out DBS Competency model across the region.

The ideal candidate will have:

+ 12-15 years of commercial (Sales, Marketing, Customer facing roles) or consulting experience, process development & improvement in a matrixed environment. Experience in Multinational environments will be an added advantage

+ Leadership Experience in driving process improvement, change management in commercial / sales environments, implementation of growth & strategic projects for the region.

+ Proven ability to solve complex business problems using structured, data-driven methodologies

+ Outstanding interpersonal skills and executive presence with an ability to work with people at multiple levels both inside and outside of Danaher; Can quickly build strong relationships and quickly establish significant credibility, trust, and support (i.e., Customers, peers, subordinates, and senior management) as well as developing strong followership within the commercial organization.

+ Business Degree from a reputed business school
