**Commercial Analytics Senior Associate**
**Amgen India (AIN)**
The Commercial Analytics team at Amgen plays a pivotal role as a strategic partner to Commercial leadership, delivering high-quality analyses and data-backed insights crucial for driving US commercial performance. This role is part of Amgen’s growing analytics capability in India and works closely with US-based Commercial and Global Customer Capabilities Innovation teams to execute analytical work, generate insights, and support decision-making across the business.
As our Commercial Analytics Sr. Associate, you are a key contributor, with a hands-on role in executing analytic plans to generate actionable insights for US in-line brands. The Sr. Associate will partner with the Manager to ensure day-to-day delivery of recommendations. The role demands curiosity, problem solving, and the ability to independently execute and document analytic plans.
**Live | What you will do**
**1. Performance Analytics & Insight Delivery**
+ Contribute to the design and execution of analytic plans across multiple secondary data sources to support strategic decision-making.
+ Support performance analytics to understand brand drivers, payer/access shifts, promotional impact, field dynamics, and competitive trends.
+ Develop clear, actionable, and objective insights that support brand planning, portfolio discussions, and commercial execution.
+ Execute production, quality, and interpretation of standard performance reports and dashboards (weekly, monthly, quarterly).
+ Contribute to collective ownership of understanding data sources, business rules, and caveats, ensuring confidence and accuracy in all outputs.
**2. Cross-Functional Collaboration & Communication**
+ Partner with US teams across forecasting, market research, value and access, decision science, and reporting/visualization.
+ Communicate findings clearly, through concise narratives.
+ Engage regularly with counterparts to refine requirements, validate assumptions, and align outputs to provide an objective data-driven perspective on performance.
+ Maintain consistency and documentation of methods, KPI definitions, and analytical standards.
**3. Analytics Execution, Quality & Team Culture**
+ Ensure analytical execution with accuracy, rigor, and reproducibility.
+ Contribute to automation and productization efforts that reduce manual effort and speed up insights.
+ Support AI-enabled analytics by preparing data and partnering on automated outputs.
+ Ensure analytical work adheres to applicable legal, regulatory, and compliance SOPs across internal teams and vendor partners.
+ Embody a culture of curiosity, accountability, inclusion, and continuous improvement across the India team.

**Basic Qualifications**
+ Bachelor’s with 5 years or Master’s with 4 years in sales & marketing operations, and/or analytics experience.
+ Strong SQL, Excel, and Python skills, with working knowledge of Tableau and cloud data services (AWS, Databricks).
+ Strong ability and direct experience with various secondary data sources specific to US commercial pharma.
**Preferred Qualifications**
+ Strong interpersonal and planning skills; comfort independently manage project timelines and develop contingencies.
+ Demonstrated mastery of data, analytics, and/or dashboarding & reporting.
+ Understanding of the strengths and limitations of different analytical approaches.
+ Demonstrated ownership of operational delivery across cross-functional teams.
Strong oral, written communication skills with ability to convey a compelling, concise narrative.
