Pfizer’s pediatric pneumococcal vaccine, Prevnar 20, was approved by the FDA in April 2023 and received its ACIP recommendation in June 2023. This vaccine expands serotype coverage to 20 and aims to further protect children from serious pneumococcal disease. This next generation vaccine is a “blockbuster” for the U.S. and is a critical brand within the Vaccines portfolio.

The U.S. Prevnar 20 Pediatric HCP Director position is a mission critical role responsible for continued HCP materials development and execution for Prevnar 20 Pediatric. This HCP Director will span a number of key initiatives, with a specific focus on the brand’s non-personal promotion activities and Real World Evidence (RWE) plan. The person in this role works extensively on a daily basis with two current Pediatric HCP Directors, the Senior Director – Prevnar 20 Pediatric Lead as well as multiple cross-functional partners spanning both the digital marketing space as well as Medical.

**What You Will Achieve**

This individual will lead the development and execution of HCP non-personal promotion tactics to help drive vaccinations that help protect children from Invasive Pneumococcal Disease, or IPD (e.g., emails, website, social media, etc.). This work will span HCP efforts and competitive strategy for the brand, working collaboratively with relevant U.S. and Global stakeholders to drive preference vs. competition and build effective campaigns. The candidate will also help set and execute the vision for digital transformation to effectively reach customers, drive planning and cross-functional collaboration to achieve desired outcomes.

In addition, this individual will work with the brand Medical team to establish a 3-year view to Real World Evidence (RWE) generation and identify potential connections to the brand’s promotional narrative.

The candidate needs to demonstrate the ability to engage people, lead within a highly matrixed structure, have excellent communication skills, have high learning agility, and be able to work seamlessly with the global marketing team in preparation for launch.

This role requires strong strategic, communication and analytical thinking as well as creativity, prioritization skills, and an ability to inspire and partner with external and internal stakeholders.

In this role, you will:

+ Partner with Prevnar Pediatric Medical team to establish a 3-year view to Real World Evidence generation view

+ Identify potential connections to the brand’s promotional narrative and develop and validate potential messaging for future use

+ Design and implement a comprehensive HCP non-personal promotion (NPP) omnichannel plan across digital, media, CRM, social, and email platforms

+ Optimize digital, HCP targeted customer journeys and engagement metrics through data-driven insights

+ As appropriate, develop HCP targeted branded and/or branded omnichannel communication strategy and execution plans

+ Spearhead HCP media initiatives with key cross functional and CMO partners to ensure a hyper-targeted, regional digital communication plan

+ Collaborate and align with marketing team counterparts and cross-functional team members to ensure that promotional plans work in synergy to deliver overall revenue objectives for Prevnar 20 Pediatric

+ Lead RC process for all non-personal promotion (NPP) assets ensuring deployment aligned to strategic and tactical plans

+ Close partnership with CMO and digital cross-functional colleagues to explore and execute innovative ways to reach a broader audience with enhanced efficiency

+ Close partnership and support of key HCP and CFC strategy and tactics as needed to help drive vaccine uptake to help protect more babies from IPD. This includes key meetings, workshops, etc.

+ Lead and deploy HCP Non-Personal Promotion (NPP) tactical plan

+ Manage HCP Non-Personal Promotion (NPP) budget and performance of the Agency of Record and other key partners

+ HCP Director will also be assigned non-digital and RWE HCP projects to lead/collaborate on based on evolving brand needs

**Here Is What You Need (Minimum Requirements):**

+ Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years, Master’s degree with 7+ years, or PhD/PharmD with 5+ years of sales and/or marketing pharmaceutical Life Sciences, etc. experience

+ Ability to work independently across stakeholders and demonstrates judgement of what needs to be escalated

+ Excellent communication and presentation skills (oral and written)

+ Robust analytical/planning skills and ability to multi-task under pressure

+ Strong business acumen including demonstrated strategic marketing and analytical thinking skills, as well as an ability to translate key insights and metrics into strategies and tactical execution

+ Strong project management, coordination skills across large groups of cross-functional teams

+ Demonstrated ability to ideate on a strategy and then pull that through into successful execution

+ Solid understanding of today’s U.S. pharmaceutical environment, incl. Regulatory, Legal and Compliance

+ Champion innovation, seek learnings from other brands and other industries to innovate and enhance plans

+ Fosters a culture of collaboration and teamwork

+ Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team and lead colleagues outside of a direct reporting relationship through influence and persuasion

+ Candidate demonstrates a breadth of diverse leadership experiences and capabilities including: the ability to influence and collaborate with peers, develop and coach others, oversee and guide the work of other colleagues to achieve meaningful outcomes and create business impact

**Bonus Points If You Have (Preferred Requirements):**

+ Experience in the U.S. pharmaceutical industry

+ MBA, MPH or similar preferred

+ Previous marketing experience preferred

+ Previous digital experience preferred

+ MBA, MPH or similar preferred, not required

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $176,600.00 to $294,300.00. In addition, this position is eligible for participation in Pfizer’s Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 20.0% of the base salary and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program.
