**Transform the everyday with us!**

The **Senior Account Executive** is responsible for originating, qualifying, developing, and closing complex infrastructure and sustainability opportunities across industrial and commercial markets. This role focuses on solution selling tied to energy cost reduction, resiliency, deferred maintenance, decarbonization, distributed energy resources, and market participation, often within long-cycle, multi-stakeholder pursuits.

This is not a transactional sales role. The successful candidate must be able to identify high-value opportunities, build executive-level business cases, and rigorously qualify pursuits before committing internal resources. Success requires balancing growth ambition with disciplined funnel management and clear judgment on where Siemens can win.

**As a Senior Account Executive, you will:**

+ Develop and manage a qualified pipeline of sustainability and infrastructure opportunities with a clear path to revenue

+ Lead consultative sales efforts around energy, resiliency, operational performance, and capital planning outcomes

+ Assess customer fit based on business drivers, funding path, procurement structure, technical feasibility, internal champion strength, and competitive position

+ Build and present financial justifications including ROI, lifecycle cost, savings, cash flow impact, and financing alternatives

+ Coordinate internal and external stakeholders to shape integrated solutions across Siemens businesses and third-party technologies

+ Position Siemens as a strategic solution integrator capable of delivering complex, outcome-based projects

+ Maintain strong CRM discipline, forecast accuracy, and stage-gate rigor throughout the sales process

+ Engage executive, operational, technical, and financial decision-makers including plant leadership, facilities, engineering, sustainability, and finance

**You will make an impact with these qualifications:**

_Basic Qualifications:_

+ Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing, Business, or a related field; a combination of education and relevant experience will also be considered

+ 10+ years of executive consultative sales experience in complex solution selling, infrastructure sales, energy services, performance contracting, financially structured deals, or related industries

+ Proven experience leading long sales cycles and managing large, complex, multistakeholder opportunities

+ Demonstrated ability to engage executive-level decision-makers and present confidently to senior customer audiences

+ Strong financial acumen, including the ability to develop business cases, discuss ROI and value realization, and navigate customer budget, capital planning, and financing considerations

+ Experience selling complex solutions in the energy field or an adjacent industry

+ Demonstrated ability to plan, navigate, and negotiate sophisticated sales processes

+ Strong understanding of customer business drivers and ability to connect operational needs to broader financial and strategic outcomes

+ Strong verbal and written communication skills in English

+ Strong organizational, presentation, and negotiation skills

+ Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite

+ Must be 18 years of age and possess a valid driver’s license with limited violations; must meet eligibility requirements to participate in Siemens’ fleet vehicle program

+ Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship

+ Ability to travel 50% or more as needed

_Preferred Qualifications:_

+ Experience with long-cycle sales requiring business-case development and multi-level stakeholder alignment

+ Demonstrated ability to qualify opportunities rigorously and manage pipeline health with discipline

+ Strong understanding of facility, plant, utility, energy, or distributed infrastructure environments

+ Ability to work across internal business units and external partners to assemble and sell integrated solutions
