**What you will do**

As a **Associate, Membership – Contracts & Pricing Execution (AIN)** , you will support the execution of U.S. pharmaceutical Membership operations by managing customer eligibility, GPO alignments, membership validations, customer setup, contract alignment, and membership maintenance activities. You will serve as a critical link between Market Access, Contracting, Pricing, Chargebacks, MDM, Government Pricing, wholesalers, GPOs, and customers to ensure accurate customer eligibility and contract execution across the Amgen commercial contracting landscape. The role supports the end-to-end Membership process from receipt of customer requests through validation, setup, system alignment, and ongoing maintenance.

**Key Responsibilities**

_Membership Operations & Customer Eligibility_

+ Support the end-to-end membership process including customer onboarding, eligibility validation, membership maintenance, GPO alignments, and customer relationship updates.

+ Review and triage incoming membership requests received through the Membership mailbox from GPOs, wholesalers, Key Account Managers (KAMs), Contracting teams, and other stakeholders.

+ Validate customer information submitted through Declaration (DEC) Forms, rosters, and customer requests to ensure completeness and compliance with contractual requirements.

+ Determine customer eligibility based on contract terms, class of trade (COT), GPO participation, and business-specific membership requirements.

+ Support execution against established service level agreements (SLAs) and communicate status updates or delays to stakeholders as needed.

_Customer Validation & Membership Maintenance_

+ Perform customer validation activities utilizing HIN, DEA, HIBCC, HRSA, OneKey, HCM, GCPS, and other approved reference sources.

+ Review Declaration (DEC) Forms for accuracy, completeness, valid signatures, proper customer identifiers, and current forms before processing.

+ Validate parent-child relationships, legal entity hierarchies (LEH), customer attributes, and customer master data prior to customer setup.

+ Maintain membership records, customer alignments, contract affiliations, and GPO relationships within approved systems.

+ Support customer adds, drops, strategy realignments, and membership updates resulting from acquisitions, organizational changes, roster updates, and contract transitions.

_Customer Setup & Systems Management_

+ Create and maintain customer records within HCM, GCPS, SAP, and related systems supporting commercial contract operations.

+ Support customer onboarding activities including customer setup, LEH creation, customer attribute maintenance, and contract alignment.

+ Coordinate with MDM teams to support customer record creation, updates, master data corrections, and hierarchy management.

+ Monitor and validate system interfaces between HCM, SAP, GCPS, and related applications to ensure successful data synchronization.

+ Investigate and resolve customer setup, interface, and data integrity issues impacting contract eligibility and pricing access.

_Membership Reporting & Eligibility Management_

+ Develop, validate, and distribute eligibility reports supporting GPOs, wholesalers, Market Access teams, and other stakeholders.

+ Perform ongoing review of dispute reports and customer listings to identify missing, misaligned, or new customers requiring setup or updates.

+ Support customer eligibility validations related to contract participation, GPO membership, specialty pharmacy programs, hospital coalitions, and other business-specific arrangements

+ Analyze membership trends, customer changes, roster updates, and operational metrics to support business decisions and improve data quality.

_Rebuttals, Dispute Resolution & Stakeholder Support_

+ Investigate customer eligibility disputes and support rebuttal activities with GPOs and external stakeholders.

+ Review denial requests, perform customer eligibility research, prepare supporting rationale, and maintain appropriate documentation of decisions.

+ Collaborate with Membership leadership, Contracting, Pricing, Chargebacks, Government Pricing, and external customers to resolve membership-related inquiries and issues.

+ Maintain complete documentation and audit trails supporting membership decisions, customer alignments, and eligibility determinations.

_PHS, 340B & Specialized Membership Programs_

+ Support quarterly Public Health Service (PHS) and 340B eligibility updates, customer validation activities, and contract maintenance processes.

+ Review OPA extracts and support additions, removals, and maintenance of 340B eligibility indicators and customer attributes

+ Support hospital coalition pricing reviews, validation of coalition participation, and eligibility assessments.

+ Assist with specialty pharmacy, Kaiser, IBU, OBU, Tezspire, and other membership program-specific processes and customer validations.

_Compliance, Controls & Audit Readiness_

+ Ensure compliance with SOX controls, internal policies, pricing governance requirements, audit standards, and applicable pharmaceutical contracting regulations

_Compliance, Controls & Continuous Improvement_

+ Execute work in accordance with SOX controls, internal policies, pricing governance requirements, audit standards, and pharmaceutical contracting expectations.

+ Maintain audit-ready documentation supporting customer setup, eligibility reviews, approvals, and membership updates.

+ Support audit requests, control testing, operational reviews, and compliance activities.

+ Identify opportunities to automate manual processes, improve data quality, reduce cycle times, and enhance customer setup efficiency.

+ Participate in UAT, system enhancements, reporting improvements, and process optimization initiatives.

**Basic Qualifications**

+ Master’s degree in business administration, Finance, Commerce, Economics, Life Sciences, Healthcare Administration, or related discipline.

+ 3–6 years of experience in pharmaceutical commercial operations, membership operations, contracts & pricing, customer master data, managed markets, market access, revenue management, or related business functions

+ Experience supporting customer validation, contract administration, data management, reporting, or operational processes.

+ Strong Excel, analytical, organizational, and documentation skills.

+ Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a deadline-driven environment.

**Preferred Qualifications**

+ Pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry experience.

+ Knowledge of U.S. pharmaceutical customer eligibility, membership operations, GPO contracting, market access, and reimbursement processes.

+ Experience with HCM, GCPS, SAP, Tableau, OneKey, HIBCC, HRSA, Model N, or similar commercial operations platforms.

+ Understanding of customer master data management, legal entity hierarchies, parent-child relationships, class of trade management, and contract eligibility processes.

+ Experience supporting customer onboarding, data governance, compliance controls, and audit activities.

+ Strong stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving skills.

+ Experience collaborating with U.S.-based stakeholders in a global operating model.
