The Electrical Products (EP) Business Unit offers a full range of low-voltage power distribution and control products that deliver safe, reliable, and efficient electrical solutions across residential, commercial, and industrial markets.
**We are looking for a Busway Drafter to join our team! This position will be based at our Roebuck, SC manufacturing plant.**
The Busway Drafter position is responsible for completing semi-complex design models & drawings for customer approval & installation of Busway. The candidate will report to the Engineering Supervisor and will have no direct reports.
**You will make an impact by** :
+ Collaborating with the Order Management & Engineering teams to review and interpret customer design requirements for busway electrical distribution systems.
+ Create customer approval drawings based on customer & system requirements.
+ Learn and apply knowledge of Siemens products and processes to determine an Itemized bill of materials of the busway system.
+ Work and communicate in a team driven environment.
+ Create the record layout drawing and itemized list for use in customer installation.
+ Prioritize workload independently for effective time management.
+ Participate in onsite visitations to help customers design and/or troubleshoot busway system layout.

**Basic Qualifications**
+ Associates Technical Degree
+ Experience with 2D and 3D modeling
+ Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings
+ Excellent oral and written communication skills.
+ Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office applications).
+ Ability to work in a hybrid office / remote environment
+ Applicants must be legally authorized for employment within the United States without the need for current or future employer – sponsored work authorization
**Preferred Qualifications**
+ Bachelor’s Degree in engineering or equivalent experience
+ Experience with Electrical Products such as Busway, Panels and/or Switchboards
+ SAP Experience
+ Experience in a manufacturing environment
+ 3D Revit experience
