**About Smart Infrastructure – Electrification and Automation:**

Smart Infrastructure’s Electrification & Automation (EA) team delivers a full range of energy distribution systems and solutions that power today’s electrical grids—and shape tomorrow’s. From electric-vehicle charging and photovoltaic inverters to medium-voltage distribution equipment and automation solutions, our portfolio supports the evolving needs of a more reliable, sustainable, and future-ready grid.

Our U.S. headquarters in **Wendell, North Carolina** is a hub for engineering, manufacturing, and assembly. The site produces EV chargers, photovoltaic solutions, motor control centers, retrofit and replacement breakers, and more—all contributing to the transformation of how energy is delivered and consumed.

**We are looking for a Contract Administrator. This position will be based in Wendell, NC.**

In this role, you will manage the full lifecycle of customer sales orders—from order entry and validation through delivery coordination, cost control, and collection. You’ll serve as the primary administrative contact for customers and internal partners, ensuring accurate orders, smooth execution, and a positive customer experience.

You will report to the Manager of Contract Administration and collaborate closely with customers, factories, project managers, and internal operations teams.

**You’ll** ** make an impact by:**

+ Enter customer orders in SAP with precision, ensuring alignment with customer purchase orders, proposals, contract terms, and internal guidelines.

+ Manage changes, clarifications, and updates throughout the order lifecycle with strong attention to completeness and commercial compliance.

+ Generate and release customer invoices accurately and in a timely manner.

+ Monitor and manage orders through fulfillment, shipment, delivery, and post‑delivery support—including repairs credits.

+ Coordinate with internal teams to resolve issues, ensure timely closure and excellent customer satisfaction.

+ Participate in daily production walks to track the status of open orders, identify potential delays, and collaborate on resolution paths.

+ Oversee routing, and delivery schedules in partnership with logistics and production teams.

+ Communicate with factories, receiving, and shipping teams to maintain accuracy and efficient flow through the entire process.

+ Maintain clear and professional communication with customers regarding order status, shipping timelines, required documentation, and post‑delivery actions.

+ Support project managers, engineering, sales, and other internal partners with updates and documentation as required.

+ **Required to be onsite in Wendell, NC 4+ days a week**

**Basic Qualifications:**

+ BS/BA in Finance or related area required, or equivalent experience

+ 2+ years experience

+ Proficient in MS Excel and Word

+ SAP R/3, SD and PS Module

+ Salesforce.com experience

+ Proficiency with standard accounting principles

**Preferred Qualifications:**

+ Familiar with Siemens LV & MV solutions
