We have an outstanding opportunity for an experienced **Data Center Key Account Manager** within our Building Technology Division. In this role, you will be responsible for managing OEM relationships of assigned key accounts in our industry. You will represent the entire offering provided by various segments of the Siemens Smart Infrastructure.

The Data Center Key Account Manager will focus on increasing market share and revenue growth within targeted OEM accounts, with a focus on Data Center OEMs. You will have the strategic function of developing and leading overall growth, retention, and strategic planning of the Global Key Account initiative within the OEM channel.

**As a Data Center Key Account Manager, you will:**

+ Have full account responsibility and together with a global team of regional sales representatives you act as first point of contact for your key customer.

+ Have active communication with our key client, conducting regular business reviews and identifying short- and long-term opportunities to strengthen the partnership. The job owner will be instrumental in setting targets, developing, and implementing global strategies and managing the execution of any action plans.

+ Identify and assess your customer’s critical needs, define, and manage those requirements in collaboration with our various divisions and segments while keeping your accounts informed. You will involve your customers in new product developments and manage regular product management meetings.

+ Own the global supply contract and keeping track of all contractual obligations, you are accountable for the regular legal and commercial international frame agreement negotiations. Lead a global account team (functional responsibility) for each of your key accounts, you coordinate and manage cross-border activities.

+ Own the Global account coordination and Project/Opportunity pipeline development & tracking

+ Possess a proven track record of delivering results for a minimum of 10 years in progressively responsible sales roles, ideally focused on the Data Center, HVAC, and/or Building Automation Systems markets.

+ Have an approach that balances strategy, execution and results is critical.

+ Preferably, you will be experienced in a company that manufactures and markets technically complex controls products through a variety of distribution channels.

+ You will have earned a reputation for leadership and innovative approaches in complex markets, ultimately driving revenue and market share growth.

+ Have a demonstrated track record of achieving sales targets.

+ You can interact successfully with external and internal partners and “lead by influence” in a multi-cultural matrix organization.

+ Have the ability to collaborate across many subject areas.

+ Have the ability to work with and adjust to different cultures.

+ Attack problems and quickly work through to resolution.

+ Embrace change and proactively looks for ways to improve strategy.

+ Have a strong customer orientation / Voice of the Customer Driven

+ Be highly inventive and very resourceful with strong customer-facing abilities.

+ Have strong communication skills, both verbal and written, and the ability to effectively communicate throughout all levels of the organization.

**You’ll make an impact with these qualifications:**

_Basic Qualifications:_

+ 10+ years HVAC and/or Data Center Key Account Management sales experience

+ Bachelor’s degree

+ Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship

+ Must be able to travel up to 50% of the time

_Preferred Qualifications:_

+ HVAC systems understanding

+ Mechanical or Electrical degree

+ Building automation controls experience and strong project management experience

+ Senior level sales and relationship building experience with a successful track record in new account development and revenue growth within existing accounts

+ Experience selling to HVAC Manufactures

+ Experience in Strategic selling

+ Experience with analysis, planning, and forecasting

+ Proficient in MS Office including PowerPoint and Excel

+ Strong communication and presentation skills

The pay range for this position is $91,463 – $156,794 annually with a target incentive of 45% of the base salary. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
