**What You Will Achieve**
As the Portfolio Marketing External Engagement Lead, you will report to Portfolio Marketing Lead. With your marketing team you will be accountable for the development, design and delivery of Pfizer’s US Vaccines Portfolio External Engagement strategy and execution to deliver needed belief and behavior changes to support increased immunization rates.
The US Vaccines Portfolio Marketing External Engagement Lead oversees a marketing team of three colleagues as direct reports focused on breakthrough marketing strategies, campaigns and tactics with a focus on external engagement that maximizes the Pfizer value proposition to customers and grows immunization rates in line with CDC/ACIP guidelines and brand strategies.
You will lead a cross-functional team leading with internal partners (Brand Teams, Field Teams, Medical, Retail & Access, Legal, Regulatory, Digital/Tech, Training, Marketing CoE) and leverage key external partners to maximize budget/resources driving best-in-class strategies and execution while measuring performance and driving continuous improvement in the strategies/execution.
**Scope and impact**
This work will have broad scope and impact working across every Pfizer brand/asset, all key customer segments, with the scale to deliver meaningful change in the external market which accelerates business objectives.
**Key measures of success**
Deployment of portfolio marketing campaigns with high impact on market, Exceeding annual commercial objectives, Exceeding immunization rate growth targets.
**Key Responsibilities**
+ Lead a marketing team dedicated to the prioritization, development and execution of portfolio marketing campaigns to address vaccination belief/behavioral barriers to pediatric, adolescent and adult immunizations
+ Responsible for determination of key external stakeholders, priority segments/customers, communication/promotional/engagement strategies and execution
+ Will define strategy, lead and coordinate across the US vaccines business and all cross functional stakeholders to address and advance key portfolio initiatives such as- closing HCP/Consumer perception gap, improving impact of HCP recommendations, identification and prioritization of opportunities w/ overlapping populations (e.g. Underlying Medical Conditions), development of integrated portfolio engagement plan across key opinion leaders/external experts/professional associations/congresses
+ Coach & develop team of marketers to develop marketing skills, capabilities and competencies while supporting career planning, development and progression
+ Manage advertising agencies and other key external partners to ensure project deliverables are achieved on time and within budget
+ Lead cross functional team across key internal and external partners to build integrated learning and measurement plan for execution against objectives
+ Contribute to achieving business unit revenue commitments and responsibly maximizing SI&A budget
**Basic Qualifications:**
+ Bachelors degree with 8+ years of sales / marketing pharmaceutical experiences
+ Led marketing/customer strategy development – brand, campaign, customer
+ Experience designing, developing, gaining approvals, training and executing marketing plans and tactics
+ Experience leading, coaching, developing sales / marketing teams
**Preferred Qualifications:**
+ Masters degree with 10+ years of sales / marketing pharmaceutical experiences
+ Deep understanding of vaccines business and evolving healthcare landscape including key external stakeholder groups, customer types, population-based recommendations, manufacturer products and portfolios
**Limited travel expectations:** Travel may include attendance at sales meetings and field rides

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $176,600.00 to $294,300.00. In addition, this position is eligible for participation in Pfizer’s Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 20.0% of the base salary and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program.
