The **Solutions Operations Manager** leads remote teams responsible for Program Management, engineering deliverables, project and commissioning oversight with the local Areas for large Data Center customers. The right candidate will manage the revenue and gross margin to targets by controlling job costs and executing projects on time. This position requires stellar communication skills, both in person and remotely. You’ll not only be managing your team internally, but you will need to manage the relationships at the accounts you work with externally. **As a Solutions Operations Manager, you will:**  

+ Supervise, train, and mentor the team through goal setting, performance monitoring, employee review meetings, and scheduling of formal training. 

+ Manage revenue, gross margin, and absorption to achieve monthly and annual business plan projections and forecasts. 

+ Direct and supervise the development of project plans to monitor and control the progress in the execution of work. 

+ Ensure schedules are maintained and projects proceed in accordance with the contract documents and customer expectations. 

+ Interact with Data Center customers to ensure the team is meeting the desired needs.

+ Plan and justify manpower, staffing requirements, tools, and other appropriate investments for effective and timely execution of work. 

+ Provide technical and operational support for the sales teams with pricing and scope-of-work definition for Data Center project opportunities.   

+ Maintain relationships between Operations and Sales teams so project details, changes, and plan discrepancies can be managed to minimize cost and delays throughout the estimating, bidding and operations phases of each project. 

+ Support project productivity and profitability through cost-containment procedures and processes. 

+ Develop and execute service-based projects to meet the needs of customers post-construction completion.

**You will make an impact with these qualifications:**  

_Basic Qualifications:_    

+ 2+ years of project management experience

+ Must be able to demonstrate an understanding of job financial reporting with ability to apply cost control measures for projects 

+ Familiarity or experience with HVAC or building automation 

+ Must be able to demonstrate organizational and interpersonal skills  

+ Experience with Microsoft Office   

+ Verbal and written communication skills

+ 35% travel required

+ Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship

_Preferred Qualifications:_    

+ Data Center construction experience

+ Data Center service experience

+ Bachelor’s degree

+ 2+ years of experience supervising teams

+ 5 + years of experience with project management

The pay range for this position is $102,459 – $175,644 annually with a target incentive of 10% of the base salary. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
