The Field Service Engineer for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is responsible for service, repair and/or installation of products or IT solutions at customer site, including electrical and mechanical testing, in accordance with maintenance contracts.

This position is part of the Technical Service Department located in Prague and will be fully remote. You will be responsible for installation and maintenance of Beckman Coulter equipment in the territory of Republic of Czech Republic . You should be ideally located in commuting distance from Prague.

You will be a part of the Technical Service Team and report to the Field Technical Service Supervisor, responsible for managing installation and maintenance of Beckman Coulter products in the Czech Republic. In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

+ Installation and service support for Beckman Coulter equipment

+ Providing authoritative support on the site and by telephone

+ Maintaining professional relationship with the customers by providing technical user training to customers

+ Supporting new products introduction

+ Supporting Service team in all customers related activities

+ Reporting service activities, entering and closing tasks in SMS

+ Work within standard operating procedures and/or scientific methods

The essential requirements of the job include:

+ Degree in Electronic Engineering/ mechanical, biomedical engineering, mechatronics or similar discipline.

+ Communication in English (service trainings and all service documentation is in English language)

+ Computer skills in MS Office + Basic knowledge of LAN settings and computer communication

+ Driving licence (B)

+ Professional qualification regarding §6 194/2022 (prev. 1978/50)

+ Time flexibility

It would be a plus if you also possess:

+ Logical and creative thinking and problem-solving approach

+ Developed analytical skills and application of scientific methods to perform a variety of activities

+ Ability to recognize and solve typical problems that can occur in own work area without supervisory approval; evaluates and selects solutions from established operating procedures and/or scientific methods
