The Electrification & Automation (EA) Business Unit
offers the full range of energy distribution systems and solutions for all
markets and through all sales channels. We provide reliable power distribution
grids of today while investing in our Future Grids portfolio to create the
power distribution grid of the future.
**We are looking for a Material Handler III to join ourteam. This position will be based at Wendell, NC.**
As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for the
efficient movement of materials, including receiving, shipping, storage,
picking, delivery, and inventory management.
**Shift Hours:** 6:00am – 2:30pm
**Hourly Rate** : $22.46
**You’ll win us over by having the followingqualifications:**
**Basic Qualifications**
+ 5+ years of experience with material management(warehousing).
+ 5+ years of experience driving a forklift, orderpicker and stand up.
+ 2+ years of experience with packing and crating.
+ 3+ years of experience with cranes
+ Must be able to lift parts or sub-assembliesthat weigh up to 50 lbs.
+ Experience with SAP system
+ Basic proficiency in English, including reading,writing, and speaking.
+ Applicants must be legally authorized foremployment within the United States without the need for current or futureemployer-sponsored work authorization.
**Preferred Qualifications**
+ High School Diploma or GED
+ Proficient with MS Office applications includingbut not limited to Word, Excel, and Outlook
+ Technical training in area of responsibility
**You’ll make an impact by:**
+ Safely operates stand-up reach trucks, orderpickers, and sit-down forklifts in high-traffic areas and narrow aisles.
+ Inspects moving equipment daily and adheres toall safety rules, keeping safety a priority.
+ Unloads, receives, and records productionmaterials in the SAP system while verifying and counting inventory.
+ Picks, packs, and ships materials accurately anddamage-free using RF scanners and small hand tools.
+ Performs daily cycle counts and maintainsinventory accuracy within the storeroom.
+ Strong attention to detail while meetingdeadlines
+ Follows established processes, seeksimprovements, and completes other duties as assigned by management.
