This person will have a key role in the growth of the
engineering department and overall facility. Our facility is growing and
looking to add a dedicated mechanical engineer to expand our capabilities. This
person will review specifications, design steel and copper parts, create
assembly drawings, bills of materials and equipment layouts for power
distribution equipment. The role will report to the engineering manager and
will have no direct reports.
**We are looking for Mechanical Engineer. Thisposition will be based at Pomona California.**
+ Reviewcustomer technical specifications and verify the Siemens solution meetsthe customer requirements.
+ Workindependently and/or with a team to create required customerdocumentation, typically including custom mechanical assemblies, bills ofmaterials, and equipment layouts.
+ UtilizeCreo (Pro/E) 3D software package along with Teamcenter to create steel andcopper part and assemblies.
+ Providefactory support during the manufacture of your projects.
+ Positionrequires the ability to successfully interact with applicationengineering, R&D, sales, customer, and manufacturing productionpersonnel.
+ Assistin training other engineers and employees as required.

Basic Qualifications:
+ Bachelorsdegree in Mechanical Engineering, or similar
+ 1-3years experience creating mechanical assemblies
+ Workingknowledge of 3D design software
+ Strongwork ethic with a focus on exceeding customer expectations
+ Legallyauthorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basiswithout company sponsorship
**Preferred Qualifications:**
+ Experiencewith Switchgear/Switchboard products
+ Experiencein a fast paced production engineering environment
+ Effectivewritten and verbal communication skills
+ Familiarwith Electrical schematics and electrical components
+ Skilledin Creo (Pro/E) 3D design software
+ Experiencewith a data management system, preferable Teamcenter
+ Experiencewith Visual Basic programming or other programming languages
+ Experiencewith an ERP system, preferably SAP.
+ Proventrack record of innovative thinking and process improvement
+ Leanmanufacturing or Six Sigma
