The Data Systems Engineer for Radiometer is responsible for providing engineering support for manufacturing software tools used in manufacturing for data management, server management in collaboration with global IT. Position will be responsible for data retention, data migration, trending of data to support continuous improvements in manufacturing. Software tools comprise of in-process inspection and test systems and labelling software systems. This position will be a partner with software and IT engineers to mature data sets to develop AI muscle in the Radiometer business.

This position is part of the Process Engineering department located in New Brighton, MN and will be on site. At Radiometer, our vision is to improve global healthcare with reliable, fast, and easy patient diagnoses.

You will be a part of the Process Engineering team and report to the Director of Manufacturing Engineering responsible for utilizing their technical expertise in data engineering to improve and advance manufacturing processes. Analysis of large datasets, prescribe measurement method improvements, and evaluate product and process design characteristics to improve process capability, product efficacy, and equipment reliability is required. Oversee software infrastructure for manufacturing processes’ data management, trending, and tracking through the maintenance of current systems and proposal development for innovative technologies. In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

+ Collaborate with business, application, and process owners to provide robust analysis of manufacturing software application data.

+ Provide expert consultation in a timely and efficient manner to support and contribute to solve technical problems related to software tools used in production.

+ Responsible for regular oral and written communication relating to progress and performance of software engineering projects.

+ Collaborate with peers, Operations, Quality, R&D and IT to DBS concepts & tools in the pursuit of establishing data correlations for internal and external quality.

The essential requirements of the job include:

+ Bachelor’s Degree from accredited university in the areas of Manufacturing Engineering, Computer Science or informatics related discipline

+ Minimum 3 years of related experience

+ Advanced skills for database development

+ Experience in manufacturing environment.
