The Electrification and Automation (EA) Business Unit offers
the full range of energy distribution systems and solutions for all markets and
through all sales channels. We provide reliable power distribution grids of
today while investing into our Future Grids portfolio and applications to
create the power distribution grid of the future.
The EA Business Unit in Wendell, North Carolina, which is
its U.S. headquarters, focuses on electric-vehicle charging, photovoltaic
inverters, medium-voltage power distribution equipment including packaging and
services, and solutions, including automation. Additionally, assembly of
electric-vehicle chargers, low-voltage motor control centers, and retrofit and
replacement circuit breakers occurs at the facility.
**We are looking for a Receiving Team Lead. This positionwill be based at our Wendell, NC location.**
As a Receiving Lead, you will manage all aspects of
receiving. Our Receiving Lead position requires basic warehousing skills. The
preferred candidates would be responsible for all aspects of material handling.
Candidates will be handling inbound materials, auditing, replenishment, and
will also perform put-away and inventory tasks.
**As the Receiving Team Lead, you will:**
+ Safely operates a stand-up reach truck, stand-uporder picker, and sit-down forklift in high traffic areas and narrowaisles.
+ Efficient with small hand tools, battery, electrical,& air power tools.
+ Adhere to developed processes, methods and/or seekways to improve.
+ Responsible for the accurate receipt of incomingmaterials, supplies, and products.
+ Receives goods, verifies items against the record ofshipment, inspects condition, and files damage claims with carriers.
+ Records received items according to establishedprocedures.
+ Maintain and manage inventory.
+ Ensure 5S+, 8 Wastes mitigation, and other Leanprinciples (VSM, Kaizens, Standard Work, etc) are applied in the team /area.
+ Empower team and actively takes part in the cleaningof equipment and work area to ensure proper functioning and safe workingconditions.
+ Assist in training of new employees and requestingSAP system access required.
+ Performs other work as directed by the WarehouseManager
**You’ll win us over by having the followingqualifications:**
Basic Qualifications:
+ High School Diploma or GED
+ Minimum of 3 years of experience working in thereceiving department of a manufacturing plant.
+ Minimum of 3 years experience with Forklifts (Reachtruck, sit down, Cherry pickers)
+ Proficient in using SAP – ERP system and RF Devices.
+ Must be able to lift parts or sub-assemblies thatweigh up to 50 lbs. occasionally
+ Must have excellent verbal and written communicationskills in English
+ Ability to work independently with minimalsupervision and resolve conflict in a professional manner.
+ Previous experience in a manufacturing setting or arelated position.
+ Mechanical aptitude
+ Ability to prioritize and handle multipleduties/projects at one time
+ Legally authorized to work in the United States on acontinual and permanent basis without company sponsorship
