**What you will do**

Amgen India is a key contributor to the company’s global digital transformation initiatives, delivering secure, compliant, and user-friendly digital solutions. As part of the Global Medical Technology – Medical Information team, you will play a critical role in ensuring quality, compliance, and performance across Amgen’s Medical Information platforms.

In this role, you will be responsible for enabling data-driven insights and search visibility across Salesforce-based Medical Information Websites within a validated, GxP-regulated environment. This role requires a deep understanding of analytics, SEO best practices, and Computer System Validation (CSV) to ensure all tracking and reporting mechanisms meet compliance standards while delivering optimal user experience and measurable impact.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams—including Quality, Compliance, IT, and Medical Affairs—to design and implement analytics and SEO solutions that are audit-ready, validation-compliant, and aligned with enterprise digital goals.

**Roles & Responsibilities:**

+ Implement, configure, and maintain Google Analytics (GA4) and Google Tag Manager (GTM) across validated Salesforce Experience Cloud environments.

+ Define and configure data layers to support GxP-compliant tracking of user behavior, interactions, and events.

+ Conduct technical SEO audits to identify and resolve indexing, metadata, mobile optimization, and structured data issues.

+ Perform keyword research, competitor benchmarking, and on-page optimization to improve organic visibility while maintaining regulatory content integrity.

+ Create and validate custom dashboards and reports aligned with business and compliance requirements, including traceability to approved test cases.

+ Provide best practices and documentation for analytics configuration and SEO optimization within validated systems, ensuring adherence to GxP and CSV standards.

+ Lead or support CSV documentation activities including RS,DS, RTM, validation scripts, and test execution related to analytics and SEO configurations.

+ Collaborate with QA and Validation teams to ensure testing, documentation, and deployment of analytics tags and SEO elements comply with 21 CFR Part 11 and Annex 11 standards

+ Troubleshoot and resolve tagging issues, data discrepancies, or validation failures, escalating when needed with structured documentation and impact assessments.

+ Monitor analytics and SEO KPIs using tools like Looker Studio, Search Console, Screaming Frog, and SEMrush, identifying trends and performance gaps.

+ Work with content teams to ensure metadata and SEO elements align with approved, compliant content.

+ Coordinate with stakeholders during system updates or releases, performing impact analysis and re-validation as necessary.

+ Stay informed about changes in search engine algorithms, privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA), and validated system practices.

+ Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprints, and QA reviews for continuous delivery in a validated digital environment.

+ Prepare for and support regulatory audits and inspections by ensuring all analytics and SEO configurations are properly documented and traceable.

**Basic Qualifications:**

+ Master’s degree and 1 to 3 years of Computer Science, IT or related field experience OR

+ Bachelor’s degree and 3 to 5 years of Computer Science, IT or related field experience OR

+ Diploma and 7 to 9 years of Computer Science, IT or related field experience

**Preferred Qualifications:**

+ BS/MS in Digital Marketing, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Life Sciences, or a related technical field

+ 4+ years of hands-on experience in Google Analytics, Tag Manager, and technical SEO, preferably in a validated environment

+ Experience with Salesforce Experience Cloud or Marketing Cloud in GxP-regulated use cases

+ Strong knowledge of CSV and GxP validation lifecycle, including authoring URS, OQ scripts, traceability matrices, and validation summary reports

+ Familiarity with regulatory requirements such as 21 CFR Part 11, EU Annex 11

+ Proficiency with tag debugging, data layer inspection, and browser-based QA tools

+ Experience with SEO platforms such as SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, Google Search Console

+ Familiarity with test management tools and documentation systems (e.g., HP ALM, Veeva Vault QMS)

+ Strong collaboration with cross-functional teams in a regulated Agile development environment

+ Pharmaceutical industry experience strongly preferred

**Must-Have Skills:**

+ Hands-on experience with Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and Google Tag Manager (GTM) implementation, configuration, and maintenance in enterprise environments.

+ Strong understanding of technical SEO best practices, including structured data, mobile optimization, metadata, indexing, and on-page optimization.

+ Ability to define and configure data layers, debug analytics tags, inspect DOM elements, and resolve data discrepancies using browser tools and extensions.

+ Proficiency with tools such as Google Search Console, Looker Studio, Screaming Frog, SEMrush, or similar platforms for KPI tracking, SEO auditing, and reporting.

**Good-to-Have Skills:**

+ Familiarity with Salesforce Experience Cloud or Marketing Cloud, particularly in validated medical or pharmaceutical use cases.

+ Experience using HP ALM, Veeva Vault QMS, or similar platforms for test planning, execution, and validation artifact storage.

+ Understanding of 21 CFR Part 11, EU Annex 11, GDPR, and HIPAA guidelines as they relate to analytics tracking, privacy, and data usage.

+ Experience authoring and maintaining URS, DS, RS, test plans, and traceability documentation to ensure analytics and SEO components are compliant and audit-ready.

+ Working knowledge of Computer System Validation (CSV) processes in GxP-regulated environments, including documentation like RTMs, OQ scripts, and validation summary reports.

+ Experience participating in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, sprint reviews, QA cycles, and iterative feature delivery within a regulated development environment.
