The Senior Manager, Medical Program Management for Cytiva is responsible for driving improvements in project execution and reporting for new product developments (NPD) and critical business projects across global medical applications within the guidelines of ISO 13485, ISO 9001, FDA 21 CFR 820.

This position is part of the Medical Technology Team located in Portsmouth UK and will be fully remote.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

+ Drive innovation for Pall Medical through the continuous improvement of the NPD and associated processes for Hospital and Healthcare and OEM devices

+ Drive clear communication and the ability to report critical project progress to leadership teams

+ Manage the prioritization and overall project execution of NPD projects across the Pall Medical product portfolios, with a specific focus on improving progression of projects through the Opportunity Readiness Process to Toll Gate 2

+ Coordinate projects supporting critical business initiatives from initial customer enquiry, including where applicable, creation of NDAs, selection of third party partners, and completion of initial technical feasibility/prototype trials.

+ Implement and sustain visual project management for the high-level plans for NPD projects, supporting project teams with identifying bottlenecks and collaborating closely with key partners to resolve scheduling issues, along with overseeing and reporting progress.

+ Manage the performance and development of Associates within Medical Technology Team in support of their professional development and career growth

+ Support departmental budget planning and monitoring of planned spending and resource allocation

The essential requirements of the job include:

+ Degree in Science or Engineering, or equivalent experience

+ At least 8 years’ experience of Life Sciences R&D, ideally within the fields of consumable medical devices

+ At least 3 years’ experience of leading R&D teams through New Product Development Projects from idea conception to launch and post launch review

+ Experience in the planning, implementation, and prioritization of New Product Development and Design Change projects

+ Experience of providing leadership, guidance, and coaching to technical team members, in support of their professional development and career growth

+ Understanding of global regulatory medical device requirements for new product introduction

+ Experience in leading multidisciplinary and remote teams

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

+ Technical understanding of the products within the Pall Medical product portfolios and the processes used for their manufacture

+ Leading through change
