The Japan Senior Marketing Manager for Leica Biosystems is responsible for developing and executing the Japan wide marketing strategy, campaigns and activities that contribute to revenue.

This position is part of the Japan organization located in Tokyo and will be on-site. At Leica Biosystems, our vision is to advance cancer diagnostics and improve lives.

You will be a part of the Japan team and report to the General manager, Japan with dotted line to Senior Marketing Manager, APAC responsible for developing and executing competitive marketing strategies and programs. In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

+ Formulates and executes impactful competitive marketing strategies and programs (campaigns, virtual events, trade shows, symposiums) achieving short and long- term revenue growth, ensuring that goals are consistent with the country’s growth initiatives.

+ Collaborates internally to drive country activities, campaigns, product launches, content creation and Key opinion leaders’ strategy and engagement.

+ Collaborate with commercial team to develop GTM Strategy and execute Account Based Marketing targeting strategic key accounts to drive revenue growth and impact.

+ Conduct market and competitor analysis to maintain a competitive edge and right pricing strategy within the marketplace.

+ Lead all aspects of execution of promotional material including playbooks, social media, trade shows, direct mail, web content, digital content, and industry news.

+ Supervise event logistics & provide local event support, ensuring consistency with regional messaging. Manage the local part of translation processes and review of translated customer-facing materials for accuracy.

The essential requirements of the job include

+ Bachelor’s degree in business or marketing or science.

+ Good Proficient level of English is required.

+ 10+ years of escalating experience in product management, brand management, marketing strategy or other marketing roles. Medical Device related or B2B areas are preferred.

+ 2+ years of people management

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:

+ Must be able to travel up to 30% of the time. Overnight travel may / will be required.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

+ Superior project management skills and an ability to multitask.

+ Experience in regional healthcare/diagnostics environment desired.

+ Diagnostics / Life science experience is preferred.
