About the Job As a Senior/Strategic Sales Development Representative (SDR) at Brightly, you’ll play a critical role in driving top-of-funnel growth and shaping the future of our sales pipeline. This is more than just a front-line role — you’ll be a strategic partner to our sales and marketing teams, identifying high-value opportunities, executing sophisticated outreach strategies, and ensuring a seamless transition of qualified leads to Account Executives. You’ll leverage your prior success in sales to not only meet but exceed pipeline goals, while also mentoring junior SDRs and contributing to process improvements. What you will doGenerate and qualify new sales opportunities through outbound call campaigns Build cadences and sequences Research prospects to identify and qualify decision makers among the targeted call campaigns Collect accurate and complete information in the Customer Relationship Management system (CRM) by maintaining and growing the database of prospects and tracking activity Attend sales group meetings concerning sales targets or forecasts Qualified Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States. Our offices are located in the North Hills area of Raleigh, NC. What you need 1–2 + years of successful B2B sales or SDR experience, with a proven track record of exceeding pipeline or meeting quota targets Proficiency with modern sales tools such as Salesforce, ZoomInfo, Sales Navigator, and outreach platforms (e.g., Outreach, Salesloft, or similar) Demonstrated ability to build and execute multi-touch outbound sequences, conduct deep account and persona research, and personalize outreach at scale Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with a confident and professional phone presence Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment Creative problem-solving and critical thinking abilities, with a bias for action and continuous improvement Self-motivated and coachable, with a growth mindset and a passion for sales and prospecting What makes you a StandoutSaaS or Technical Sales Experience Bachelor’s DegreeThe Brightly culture We’re guided by a vision of community that serves the ambitions and wellbeing of all people, and our professional communities are no exception. The pay range for this position is $45,000 – $50,000 annually with a commission target of $25,000 – $30,000. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
