The Technical Specialist Food & Beverage is responsible for supporting Pall Corporation’s food and beverage business, by working closely with sales staff, quality, research and development, engineering, and other departments where technical support is required.
This position reports to the SLS Americas manager and is part of the Global Technical Support group of Scientific and Laboratory Services (SLS), located in Sao Paulo, Brazil and will be an on-site role.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
+ work in a global team of technical experts.
+ conduct feasibility studies from laboratory to industrial scale and present the results to the relevant audience.
+ advise on technical solution options, taking into account the project goals and optimizing the entire process upstream and downstream.
+ assist with troubleshooting on-site, at the customer’s site.
+ provide technical advice to all internal and external customers to ensure best practices in various food and beverage applications.
The essential requirements of the job include:
+ Ability to solve complex technical problems, make recommendations and provide detailed justifications.
+ Excellent communication skills in English, Portuguese and Spanish, both written and spoken.
+ University degree (or equivalent) in science/engineering or a relevant subject.
Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:
+ Driver’s license
+ Passport
+ Willingness and ability to travel (~50%) to customer locations and other Pall locations worldwide.
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
+ food and beverage industry.
+ liquid processing and laboratory equipment production environment.
