**ROLE SUMMARY:**

The US Precision Medicine/Lung Franchise is poised for growth with numerous oncology therapies including LORBRENA, a treatment for adults with non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) that is caused by an abnormal anaplastic lymphoma kinase (ALK) gene and that has spread to other parts of the body, coupled with a strong future thoracic pipeline. This people management leader role provides the opportunity to lead a highly motivated team of individuals during a product launch that may change the standard of care while providing hope for lung cancer patients.

This role is an excellent opportunity for an experienced, motivated and innovative colleague. This person will be required to leverage their breadth and depth of US commercial marketing experience to lead a highly talented team of marketers and work closely with our cross functional partners and US Precision Medicine/Lung portfolio team to ensure we are executing an integrated strategy that maximizes our patient impact.

**ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:**

The Sr. Director, US Team Lead Lung Oncology, will report directly to the Franchise Lead, Precision Medicine/Lung and will be responsible for the execution of a successful launch of the LORBRENA CROWN data and drive the continued growth of LORBRENA along with management and oversight of Xalkori and Vizimpro. This role requires strong leadership, collaboration, communication, and decision-making skills, change agility, and proven track record of success working with multiple stakeholders, including the broader franchise team, CMO, medical, market access, agency partners, and other cross functional cohorts.

+ Directly accountable for the oversight and execution of the lung portfolio and its performance including quarterly earnings preparation

+ Identify, strategize, plan and execute incremental growth opportunities for the brand beyond clinical data launch

+ Develop the overall HCP strategy and tactics to support appropriate utilization of the in-line lung portfolio

+ Support the development and implementation of annual tactical plans that drive the short- and long-term HCP and patient strategy, based on key customer insights

+ Continuously own the measurement and impact of HCP marketing initiatives, generating key learnings, and driving continuous improvement in order to achieve Brand objectives

+ Ensure marketing materials are compelling and appropriate across all appropriate channels

+ Partner with finance and analytics’ teams to prepare the Pfizer annual operating plan for the in-line lung portfolio and lead all Latest Estimates

+ Directly lead and develop a talented team of (4) director and senior manager level marketers to achieve high performance and maximize potential

+ Identify strategic customer insights through collaboration with medical, market analytics, field force and prescribers and translate into actionable strategies

+ Manage Lung A&P budget and performance of the AOR and other key partner agencies

+ Conduct all responsibilities in accordance with Company policies, with a strong adherence to our Values including compliance

+ Exhibit a high performance, values driven approach to develop strategies, identify opportunities, and manage key issues to achieve commercial objectives

**BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:**

+ Bachelor’s degree required and 15+ years of pharmaceutical industry experience required, or Master’s degree and 13+ years of experience, or Ph.D./PharmD and 10+ years of experience required

+ 5+ years’ experience managing or leading marketing colleagues at all levels (Manager to Director) and commitment to fostering team engagement, team culture and developing people

+ Experience interfacing/collaborating with field sales, medical affairs, regulatory, and supply

+ Strong strategic skills, ability to make trade off decisions, evaluate business opportunities, build and sell in-business cases

+ Ability to work independently across senior level stakeholders and demonstrate judgement of what needs to be escalated

+ Excellent communication and presentation skills (oral and written)

+ Strong project management skills with demonstrated ability to lead large and diverse cross-functional teams

+ Demonstrates a breadth of diverse leadership experiences and capabilities including: the ability to influence and collaborate with peers, develop and coach others, oversee and guide the work of other colleagues to achieve meaningful outcomes and create business impact

+ Demonstrated ability to manage and deliver results on multiple, complex, competing projects in a deadline-oriented environment

+ Must be driven by success

+ Must be able to organize multiple projects over time

**PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:**

+ MBA or other advanced degree highly desirable

+ Previous in-line US Marketing experience preferred

+ Oncology experience preferred, but not required

+ Demonstrated success with US product launch and lifecycle management preferred

+ Prior experience with US and/or global product launch and lifecycle management preferred

**NON-STANDARD WORK SCHEDULE, TRAVEL OR ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS**

+ Ability to synthesize and analyze complex data and understand trends and mathematical calculations

+ Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed for congresses and customer engagements

+ Expected domestic travel 20%

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $191,300.00 to $318,800.00. In addition, this position is eligible for participation in Pfizer’s Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 22.5% of the base salary and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program.
