Let’s do this. Let’s change the world. The Undergraduate Co-op at Amgen offers students the opportunity to gain industry experience while completing their studies. They may assist in various departments, including engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain, depending on their course of study and the company’s needs. The co-op runs from July 8th – December 20th at our Thousand Oaks, CA headquarters. Responsibilities include:

+ Developing and refining digital capabilities including methods for real-time data collection and visualization utilizing cloud-based architecture

+ Optimizing organizational tools and digital systems to streamline data flow and team communication

+ Characterization of new and existing equipment, identifying boundary limits and critical parameters

+ Developing simple business processes to manage facets of a complex organization

**Basic Qualifications**

Amgen requires that all individuals applying for an undergrad internship or a co-op assignment at Amgen must meet the following criteria:

+ 18 years or older

+ Currently enrolled in a full-time Bachelor’s Degree program from an accredited college or university with a 3.0 minimum GPA or equivalent

+ Completion of one year of study from an accredited college or university prior to the internship commencing

+ Enrolled in a full-time Bachelor’s degree program following the potential internship or co-op assignment with an accredited college or university

+ Must not be employed at the time the internship or co-op starts

+ Student must be located in the United States for the duration of the internship OR co-op

**Preferred Qualifications**

+ Degree concentration in Engineering, Science, Biotechnology, Math, Computer Science, Technology, Data Science, Public Health or a related degree

+ Junior or Senior

+ Previous Co-op or internship experience

The base pay range for this opportunity in the U.S. is $24.70 – $28.30.
