We are hiring an experienced **Integration Engineer** to join our **Security Center of Competence** team supporting many of our largest, most complex electronic security projects throughout the Americas. As an Integration Engineer, you will be responsible for creating and implementing software for integrated security technologies. In doing so, you will help shape and influence the smart buildings of tomorrow!
**As an Integration Engineer, you will:**
+ Be responsible for providing technical leadership and direct support for the planning, direction, and execution of complex software centric security projects.
+ Support and guide field delivery teams for current and future business operations technical needs through the effective and innovative use of IT applications.
+ Evaluate needs and upgrades of Operating Systems, Database Servers and other applications from software vendors and plan application interrogations, migrations for upgrades, identify modifications that are required in upgrade and prepare appropriate testing plan.
+ Oversee the definition and documentation of all system requirements associated with new application projects.
+ Ensure that test plans are developed and performed and secure user approval before releasing software / integration to production.
+ Manage overall analysis and design of integration solutions to meet business requirements.
+ Work with project team in defining implementation tasks, prepare time and cost estimates, review requirements to ensure the project is adequately defined and provide technical advice and guidance to project managers.
+ Develop interfaces (SDK/API) to new and legacy systems utilizing common integration tools (SDKs, APIs).
+ Coordinate with customers’ IT Departments on the integration of network devices.
+ Provide demonstrations to internal and external customers of our integrated security system platforms.
+ Provide customer training on the most efficient use of their integrated security systems.
**You will make an impact with these qualifications:**
_Basic Qualifications:_
+ 5+ years of experience developing and implementing large-scale enterprise security systems.
+ Bachelor’s degree preferred in Software Engineering, Software Development, Information Technology, Computer Science, or Electronics.
+ Strong communication skills – written and oral.
+ High level of proficiency in access control systems, video management systems, IP Video and Video Analytics, intrusion detection, PSIM and PIAM products and concepts, networking principles firewalls, and cyber security.
+ Strong analytical and trouble shooting skills with security networks, servers, workstations, access control hardware, video management systems, and edge devices.
+ Expertise managing applications through the full systems development life cycle and integrating disparate systems with one another.
+ Comprehensive understanding of the project management life cycle is required.
+ Ability to meet deadlines.
+ Ability to work with minimal supervision.
+ Presentation skills / Customer focus.
+ Up to 25% travel may be required for the position.

+ Experience and preferably certifications with various security systems or related technologies including:
+ **Siemens Security Products** – SiPass, Siveillance VMS, Siveillance Control (formerly Viewpoint), Siveillance Control Pro (formerly Vantage), Identity
+ **Industry Security Products** – Software House CCure 9000, Genetec Security Center, Lenel, Milestone, American Dynamics, Bosch
+ **Technology** – Microsoft (MCP, MCSE, MCSA, MCDBA, MCTS, or greater) Windows Server & SQL – architecture and administration, Linux OS, Active Directory, Cisco network products, VMWare, Penguin EverRun (formerly Stratus), C#, C++, APIs, Visual Studio & DotNet
