As an intern with the **Electrification and Automation (EA)** division of **Siemens Smart Infrastructure** , you’ll gain hands-on experience supporting power distribution systems that keep the world running today, while also being exposed to our Future Grids technologies that are shaping the power systems of tomorrow – all within a collaborative, impact-driven environment.

**We are seeking qualified candidates to join our Commercial Project Management Summer – Fall 2027 Co-op beginning in May 2027. This hybrid position will be based at our Wendell, North Carolina office location.**

**You’ll make an impact by:**

+ Supporting project financial planning, forecasting, and Estimate at Completion (EAC) updates for large-scale Energy Automation and Data Center projects.

+ Assisting with revenue, cost, cash flow, profitability, and order intake tracking to support project performance objectives.

+ Analyzing project data to identify risks, opportunities, variances, and areas for process improvement.

+ Supporting change order management, invoicing activities, and commercial milestone reporting.

+ Collaborating with Commercial Project Managers, Finance, Sales, Procurement, and Project Execution teams to support project objectives.

**You’ll win us over by having the following qualifications:**

**Basic Qualifications:**

+ Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Management, or a related field.

+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a basic understanding of financial concepts, reporting, data analysis, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

+ Ability to work full-time (40 hours per week) during the Summer and Fall 2027 semesters, with hybrid work flexibility and occasional in-person attendance (up to 3 days per week) for training, professional development, and team activities.

+ Candidates must be enrolled with the North Carolina State University co-op program.

+ Eligible candidates must be located within 50 miles of Wendell, NC, as this role does not provide relocation support.

+ Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship.

+ This internship is a structured experiential learning program for individuals currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program who will continue their studies following the assignment. Current and continuing enrollment is a condition of participation. Applicants who have completed or expect to complete their educational program before or during the assignment period are encouraged to explore our Early Career Development Program opportunities.

**Preferred Qualifications:**

+ Strong written and verbal communication skills.

+ Ability to manage multiple tasks and work effectively in a team environment.

+ Experience with project management and milestone tracking.

+ Experience with business reporting, financial analysis, forecasting, or data analytics.

+ Experience collaborating with Finance, Project Management, Procurement, Engineering, or other cross-functional teams.
