Job Purpose

This Position will help create results tailored to customer needs through product demonstrations and realize customer inquiries and requests by supporting product training and seminars for customers.

Key Relationships:

Customers and associates internally and externally throughout Molecular Devices and the Danaher Corporation, Channel partners, Pharmaceutical and biotech customers, and Academy faculty and administrators, and government officials.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Coordinate and conduct customer training and demonstration for product and applications of Molecular devices

+ Troubleshoot issues related to protocol setup, data processing, software operation.

+ On-site failure analysis to identify root cause and feedback to corresponding company departure or personnel

+ Develop and maintain positive relationships with customers and colleagues as well

+ Provide application support for pre- and post- sales activities through technical presentations, seminars.

+ Provide technical support and training to new customers and channel partners

+ Excellent understanding of commercial initiatives and strategies; maintain close collaboration with commercial team

+ Direct interaction with end-users and channel partners

+ Maintain and updated technical information for specific applications to commercial team ad customers

Qualification:

+ Experience with field application scientist, technical sales is preferred

+ High self-motivation and at least 2 years working experience in a lab, Biotech or Life Science Instruments company

+ Master’s degree or above in Molecular biology or related subject.

+ Preferred background related microplate reader or HCS(Imaging system)

+ Good English written and verbal communication and training/presentation skills
