The Senior Director, Commerical Americas for Cytiva is responsible for leading and directing the region Opco sales organization to meet or exceed sales revenue, sales profitability, and budgetary objectives and achieve sustainable, profitable year-over-year growth. The role involves strategic planning, managing people, selling, and improving processes. This position collaborates across the organization to get results through influence. In addition, the leader contributes to the development of the functional and operational long-term strategy and develops annual business plans to ensure alignment.

This position is part of Genomic Medicine, Commercial located in the United States and will be fully remote. At Cytiva, our vision is, to advance future therapeutics from discovery to delivery.

What you’ll do:

+ Is responsible for all the USCAN revenue for GenMed Accounts and leads team to meet or exceed regional sales targets to ensure alignment and drive one strategy.

+ Build, manage and lead a high functioning sales team responsible for achieving or exceeding monthly, quarterly, and annual targets in direct sales regions.

+ Develops and executes strategic plans that align with the wider organization based on market knowledge. Drive the regional Genomic Win-the-Spec program to drive genomic OpCo products specified in customers’ early-stage drug development process.

+ Work with Operations, Customer Service, Supply Chain, and other teams in Cytiva to ensure complete execution of our sales strategies in the region (including orders, shipments, AR collections, contracts including renewals)

+ Using strong DBS skills, lead sales funnel reviews and ensure reporting of all business opportunities, solution concepts and strategies to management by using CRM/Salesforce and provide voice of customer including applications feedback to product development team.

+ The Leader will hire, train, and manage the Americas commercial team, creating trusted relationships, supporting their development.

+ Partner in Regional Commercial Council to prioritize OpCo priorities and partner across OpCos to have a streamlined approach to the customer. Member of Regional Commercial Council across Cytiva to represent OpCo priorities, partner across OpCos, identify a streamlined approach to the customer and address escalations/ways of working.

. Who you are:

+ 10-15 years’ experience in a sales management position along with selling consultative complex services or solutions to healthcare providers/labs. Demonstrated leadership skills and track record of successfully leading technical, customer-facing commercial teams.

+ Bachelor’s degree in business, Technology, Engineering, Science or related discipline; MBA preferred.

+ Prior knowledge of genomic medicine approaches, biopharmaceutical manufacturing process flow, and GMP. Experience working with large biopharma organizations; launching and scaling new solutions offerings in an emerging market.

+ Proven ability to hire, develop, manage and retain leading sales professionals.

+ Strong financial acumen in delivering business results by overseeing budgeting, sales funnel management, financial planning, and reporting, with a solid track record of team exceeding targets and maintaining long term customer relationships.

+ At ease executing comprehensive sales strategy, identifying market needs and opportunities; can quickly pivot value proposition and sales models to accelerate growth in target markets.

+ Experience working in a highly matrixed, Global company. Up to 75% travel within assigned regions, including international travel for training, conferences, trade shows and seminars. Excellent analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to interact and collaborate successfully across all levels and functional areas.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

+ Experience working in a highly technical organization, requiring a comprehensive understanding of complex concepts and principles.

+ Technical domain expertise with demonstrated ability to communicate technology-based solutions to new and existing customers.

+ Change management and growth mindset, with ability to create long term strategic vision.

+ Strong sense of urgency and responsiveness to all stakeholders

The salary range for this role is 180,000-225,000. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
