The Sr. Analyst I – RFP & Bid for Leica Biosystems is responsible for supporting our Sales Team for all types of transactions related but not limited to: Advanced Staining, Core Histology, and Pathology Imaging at Leica Biosystems. This role is based in our Deer Park, IL office. In this role, the RFP & Bid Sr. Analyst I will be expected to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams (finance, legal, customer service, service, IT, sales, marketing) and balance internal/external business operation demands This individual will be responsible for all aspects of the Request for Proposals (RFP) process from identifying sales opportunities, through RFP proposals to contract conclusion which also includes coordinating internal flow of information to assemble response language and legal inputs. Complete, accurate, timely RFP responses and agreement review is crucial.

This position is part of the Sales Operations located in Deer Park, IL and will be hybrid. At Leica Biosystems, our vision is to advance cancer diagnostics and improve lives.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

+ Lead RFP process for non-GPO customers from identification to submission adhering to target dates in conjunction with the Sales Team and other internal departments

+ Review Opportunity emails and websites daily to identify Sales Opportunities, Manage GSS pricing and training and misc requests

+ Maintain metrics and daily management/visual management dashboards

+ Complete Misc questionnaires / documents for Gov’t, GPO, IDN, Ref Lab, Customer, technical & risk analyses. Redline, discuss and interact directly with customers to conclusion Purchase Agreements, addendum and renewals, for Capital, Consumable, Reagent and bundled deals resulting from RFP’s/RFP’s. Communicate yearly contract pricing, Train new employees on department processes

+ Report to Management on obligations, liabilities and risks associated with Contract clauses, working closely with the Legal department to achieve the best outcome

+ Other projects and duties as assigned

The essential requirements of the job include:

+ BA or BS Degree with 3+ years of related experience OR equivalent work experience a minimum 5 years.

+ Complete Misc questionnaires / documents for Gov’t, GPO, IDN, Ref Lab, Customer, technical & risk analyses. Redline, discuss and interact directly with customers to conclusion Purchase Agreements, addendum and renewals, for Capital, Consumable, Reagent and bundled deals resulting from RFP’s/RFP’s. Communicate yearly contract pricing, Train new employees on department processes

+ High degree proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and Adobe Acrobat

+ Work independently but able to interact as part of a team member

+ Proficient with business and legal term & conditions review / adjustments

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

+ Government Contracts (FAR, bids, VA’s, GSS)

+ Fluent in French (written and verbal)
