Siemens Smart Infrastructure is searching for a Senior Project Manager to support our growing Sustainability / EPS (Energy Performance Solutions) business. In this role, you will be responsible for all projects activities for large performance contracting guaranteed energy savings projects within your area of responsibility. This position will be based out of our Pittsburgh, PA branch location. This is a remote role, but the Senior Project Manager will need to be based in the larger Pittsburgh area.

**As a Senior Project Manager, you will:**

+ Manage large, complex projects or multiple projects from pre‑booking through customer acceptance

+ Lead project teams through planning, estimating, design, installation, start‑up, commissioning, turnover, and warranty phases

+ Ensure customer satisfaction throughout execution and at final project completion

+ Perform estimating, design verification, project scheduling, equipment start‑up, commissioning, and project close‑out

+ Develop written scopes of work for subcontractors based on design intent, plans, and specifications

+ Maintain full responsibility for project financials, including cost management and monthly forecasting

+ Prepare accurate and timely customer progress billings and approve payments to material suppliers and subcontractors

+ Obtain contractor and material bids and coordinate subcontractor selection

+ Define project budgets and schedules during the project acquisition phase

+ Coordinate customer project meetings and document accurate meeting minutes

+ Participate in pre‑bid reviews and sales‑to‑operations turnover meetings to validate job scope and estimates

+ Analyze construction plans, specifications, and applicable codes to determine project requirements

+ Develop and manage project execution plans and monitor compliance with execution strategy

+ Prepare or oversee engineering re‑estimate reports and apply forecasting tools to control costs

+ Participate in final job site walk‑throughs and manage project close‑out documentation, including as‑built drawings, operating instructions, and project records

+ Drive project execution to meet operating income (OI) targets and schedules

**You will make an impact with these qualifications**

_Basic Qualifications:_

+ Minimum of 5 years of project management experience managing large energy or mechanical commercial/industrial building projects valued over $500K

+ Proficiency in Excel, Word, MS Project or Primavera, and Outlook

+ Strong leadership, listening, verbal, and written communication skills

+ Understanding of job financial reports with the ability to apply them in project management

+ Ability to travel up to 65%

+ Valid driver’s license

+ Legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer‑sponsored work authorization

_Preferred Qualifications:_

+ Bachelor’s or Associate’s Degree in a technical field (or High School Diploma/GED with strong mechanical and HVAC experience)

+ Strong mechanical and HVAC systems knowledge and experience

+ Knowledge of utility rebates and performance contracting legislation

+ Experience with federal and public projects, including environments with prevailing wage requirements

+ Experience in estimating, design verification, building codes, commissioning, and project close‑out

The pay range for this position is $83,966 – $143,942 annually with a target incentive of 10% of the base salary. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
