Our **Building Automation** **Engineering Supervisor** leads a team responsible for the design and engineering of building automation control systems. The right candidate will coordinate engineering deliverables and schedules with the Engineering and Project Management teams to provide on-time delivery of configuration and connection activities and to ensure customer expectations and commitments are met.

This position is offered as a **hybrid role** , combining the flexibility of remote work with the benefits of in-person collaboration. Team members may be required from time to time to visit the Siemens local office and/or worksite based on project expectations, with the remaining time remote. Specific scheduling may vary based on team needs, project timelines, and individual performance.

**As a Building Automation Engineering Supervisor, you will:**

+ Supervise, train, and mentor the System Engineering team through goal setting, performance monitoring, employee review meetings, and scheduling of formal training.

+ Schedule and assign engineering tasks to the team.

+ Ensure schedules are maintained and projects proceed according to plans, job specifications, and cost estimates.

+ Supervise and ensure quality submittal preparation, labor plans, job site walks, job folder updates, and re-estimates.

+ Implement engineering productivity tools and practices to increase the overall quality and productivity of the team.

+ Coordinate engineering priorities with Project Management teams to achieve on-time completion of engineering submittals

+ Maintain relationships among Sales, Engineering, and Execution teams so changes and discrepancies can be managed to minimize costs and delays throughout the estimating and execution phases of projects.

+ Support project profitability through cost-containment procedures and processes.

+ Travel between branch locations as needed.

**You will make an impact with these qualifications:  **

_Basic Qualifications:   _

+ Associate degree from a two-year college or technical school

+ 3+ years of experience in engineering or project management in support of building automation control systems (HVAC)

+ 1+ years of experience supervising teams

+ Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills

+ Proficient in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and business software systems

+ Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship

+ **Occasional travel will be required for important team gatherings, project kick-offs, strategic discussions, or training.**

_Preferred Qualifications:   _

+ Bachelor’s degree

+ 5+ years of experience in engineering or project management

+ 3+ years of experience supervising teams

+ 3+ years of experience with enterprise accounts

+ Familiarity with Bluebeam or equivalent software

The pay range for this position is $88,765 – $152,169 annually with a target incentive of 5% of the base salary. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
