The Solution Manager for Cytiva is responsible for leveraging Cytiva’s and cross-Opco/Platform portfolio resources to support leading applications. This role will also involve promoting the Cytiva/DHR brand, mastering localization of products, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to advance localization efforts. Additionally, the candidate will be expected to lead and participate in Design for Bioprocessing Systems (DBS) kaizen events to improve workflow modalities.

This position is part of the D&M Modality located in Shanghai and will be on-site. At Cytiva, our vision is, to advance future therapeutics from discovery to delivery.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

1. Workflow Solution Development: Develop and implement workflow solutions using Cytiva and cross-Opco/Platform resources for top-tier applications in the life sciences industry.

2. Brand Promotion: Utilize solutions to enhance the visibility and perception of Cytiva/DHR branding and capabilities within the market.

3. Localization Expertise: Master the localization of products and manufacturing processes to meet regional market needs and regulations.

4. Product Localization Pipeline: Identify product gaps in collaboration with Product Managers (PMs) and establish a robust localization pipeline to address these gaps.

5. Cross-Team Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to drive the localization process forward and integrate regional insights into product development.

6. DBS Kaizen Events: Host and facilitate Design for Bioprocessing Systems (DBS) kaizen events to continuously improve workflow modalities and efficiency.

7. Sales Tools and Training: Provide the sales team with necessary tools, training, and resources to improve sales efficiency and effectiveness.

The essential requirements of the job include:

1. Master’s Degree of Biology and minimum 5 years of selling/research experience in a life sciences or healthcare field.

2. Good project management skill and cross team collaboration capability. 3.Excellent communication and written skills in both Mandarin and English, tailored for technical and non-technical audiences.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

1. At least 3 years experience in the Life Science industry with a solid understanding of bioprocess engineering principles and applications. A genuine interest in Design for Bioprocessing Systems and a willingness to learn and implement DBS principles.

2. Previous experience in product localization or international product development.

3. Good understanding of business development or MBA.
