Description

This role serves as a critical bridge between CKM and Business Units (BUs), leading the strategic planning and development of the Out-of-Hospital (OOH) market, while ensuring strong alignment and synergy with in-hospital strategies. It is designed to shift from internal CKM operations toward an externally focused market expansion and business impact role.

**1. Lead OOH Market Strategy & Expansion**

+ Own the development of integrated OOH market strategies across retail, e-commerce, and emerging channels, with a clear focus on expanding patient access beyond hospitals.

+ Identify growth opportunities and design scalable channel strategies that accelerate market penetration and unlock new patient segments.

+ Drive the evolution of channel mix and go-to-market models to support long-term business sustainability.

**2. Strategic Business Partnering with BUs**

+ Act as a trusted strategic partner to BUs, co-developing aligned in-hospital and OOH strategies to ensure consistency, synergy, and optimized resource allocation.

+ Translate BU portfolio priorities (e.g., Repatha supply optimization, combo strategy execution, Evenity launch readiness) into actionable channel and distribution strategies.

+ Provide forward-looking insights and strategic recommendations to enhance commercial decision-making.

**3. Optimize Channel Management & Distribution Excellence**

+ Lead the design of precise, data-driven channel management approaches to improve product distribution efficiency and responsiveness to business needs.

+ Address critical supply and access challenges (e.g., Repatha availability) through proactive channel interventions and cross-functional coordination.

+ Drive and ensure strong execution discipline across CKM and Sales to deliver business targets.

**4. Accelerate Patient Access & Hospital Listing Strategy**

+ Drive initiatives to accelerate hospital listing while simultaneously expanding OOH solutions to maximize patient accessibility.

+ Develop integrated access strategies that connect hospital, retail, and digital channels into a seamless patient journey.

+ Monitor and optimize access performance, ensuring alignment with overall commercial objectives.

**5. Drive Digital Enablement & Patient Management Innovation**

+ Leverage platforms such as Amgen We-Com to empower A+ pharmacies and standardize patient management practices.

+ Champion digital innovation and ecosystem development to enhance patient engagement, adherence, and experience.

+ Integrate online and offline channels to build a consistent and scalable patient management model.

**6. Advance E-commerce & Broad Market Development**

+ Lead the continuous development of e-commerce and emerging channels to broaden patient reach and improve accessibility.

+ Explore new business models and partnerships that strengthen Amgen’s presence in the OOH ecosystem.

+ Ensure alignment of e-commerce strategy with compliance, patient needs, and brand objectives.

**7. Strengthen Organizational Agility & Execution Excellence**

+ Drive faster decision-making and execution by working closely with cross-functional stakeholders.

+ Align CKM, Sales, and BU teams around shared priorities, ensuring seamless execution of strategic initiatives.

+ Foster a high-performance, agile mindset that enables rapid response to market dynamics.

**Requirements:**

+ Bachelor’s degree

+ 5-8+ years of experience in pharmaceutical commercial strategy, with strong exposure to out-of-hospital markets (retail/broad market)

+ Opened mindset with strong business acumen

+ Proven strategic thinking capability with track record of translating insights into impactful business initiatives

+ Strong cross-functional leadership and stakeholder influence skills across BU, Sales, and Marketing

+ Solid analytical capability with ability to navigate ambiguity and drive data-informed decisions

+ Strong ownership, accountability, and results orientation. Demonstrated ability to drive execution excellence and alignment in complex organizational environments

+ High level of resilience and adaptability in a dynamic environment
